Hope said growing up, she watched her mom heart get broken alot and it made her feel like she had to be strong for her mom. Maybe that explains why she kept going back to Liam no matter how many times he broke her heart. She felt she had to be strong

Simple. Hope did not manipulate the situation to make something else happen. She wasn’t deceptive. Her problem was an inner conflict with herself. She didn’t get a gondola stopped, she didn’t use someone else to keep someone stranded to stop something from happening. I’m not a Lope fan but Hope‘s mistake was nothing like steffy’s nonsense Hope wasn’t manipulative. Steffy did and I’m actually a steam fan. Yes Hope withheld the truth but it wasn’t for same reasons as steffy did. Although steffy is spot on about hopes struggles she forced herself to sleep with Liam to take her power away but hope is this naive girl who wants a fairy tell and went against her values and wasn’t ready for the consequences of it.

@Sadie Young Steffy actually wasn't under any obligation to tell Liam that Hope was in Cabo. Liam and Steffy were married, and Liam had no business chasing Hope around As to tje gondola, hope had already ended things with Liam and he and Steffy were moving on together. Hope didn't want him back until she knew Liam was getting serious about Steffy, and Hope expected Steffy to just step aside. And then there's Liam ... he's played Steffy and Hope against each other for years, made them both miserable, and I don't get what they see in him or why they forgive him so quickly and overlook everything he's done.

@gabbyharrypersad no one ever said Steffy was a saint; she isn't. She's made some mistakes, but unlike hope and Brooke, she almost them and grows from them. And hope is moreover her mother than steffy is like Brooke. Brooke and Hope both target married men .. steffy did that with Bill when sne was 18 or 19. Hope has been doing it all along- and even as recently as her returning from Italy. Hope fans ne er admist hope does anything wrong but fact is - hope is not even close to being a saint
