aly’s family truly failed her. the fact that they only brought thorne in on what was happening with her when it was too late was bad enough, but they did her such a disservice by shunning her instead of actually helping her when they should have known what her triggers were. it just leaves a bitter taste that they treated aly as a crazy conservative rather than someone whos values were a symptom of her mental illness that nobody took seriously. and then they cheapened her death even more by having ivy use it as some blackmail scheme. aly deserved better.

Everything leading up to Ally's death felt cheap. One, the show cast a poor shadow regarding mental health, and how it needs to be dealt with. Two, Ally deserved better after being demeaned and mistreated by Ric and Maya, who never really offered any sort of true, genuine atonement for what they did. Why the writers thought this was a good way to go with, and end, with the character is beyond me.

I know I caught all those snips. I enjoyed the writing of these past episodes. Alycat was placed to represent those who had such awful things to say about Steffy and Maya at the time. I'm sorry Bell killed her off...I wish she instead had a revelation about how she had been acting and Thorne was more present to identify that his daughter needed psychological support. Her character could have been saved.

Ally told the truth, they were nasty towards her and Ally had some beautiful fashionable shoe sketches and I bet if they would have placed it in their fashion collection and had Ivy or Steffy to model it she might not have gone off the deep end. That's a creative field that their company runs and it would have caused her creative energy to take over instead of her natural inclination to be so rigid like in the conservative sense. By them denying her output of that creative drive is what lead to her outbursts. Creativity has to be released and made known without judgment and criticism and they stifled that part of Ally.
