What an awful mother-in-law Stephanie can be. Just some episodes she had confronted Caroline on how Caroline treats Thorne and how Caroline has to go to the hospital and has to play dutiful wife to Thorne, even if Caroline has to fake it. Now Stephanie asks Caroline to help her and to set up Ridge with a new woman, so that he won't end up marrying Brooke, even when Stephanie has accused Caroline of still loving Ridge (but why not pair him with new women?).

No doubt Stephanie is playing her cards conveniently - on anyone who will entertain her. I still do not blame her for seeking the interest and welfare of her family. She is quite the meddler (that she denies being), ultimately, everyone makes a choice. She was trying to get Stephen reconnected with his family, but she did not fight Eric about a divorce, and still withheld on divulging the truth about Angela when her lies would have worked further against her. But Eric pressed, made the discovery, and he made a choice - which was also partially influenced by Beth herself.

@@erickanew Caroline is Stephanie's daughter-in-law, not Brooke. As you said, Stephanie could have easily dealt with Brooke without drawing Caroline into her scheming. Stephanie never was "nice" to Brooke. She always verbally made it clear how she feels about Brooke, never pretended with Brooke that she accepted her - and never pretended with Caroline either (made it clear to Caroline how much Stephanie detests Brooke). Would you really think it is nice if your mother-in-law tells you after the first night that her son will drop you now that he got what he wanted, if she constantly tells you to your face that her son doesn't love you but still loves his sister-in-law and still want that other woman? What is nice about that? It is Stephanie's place. Stephanie easily could and should have thrown Brooke out on day 1. If Ridge had not liked it, he could have moved out - but according to Stephanie Ridge was just using Brooke, so why didn't Stephanie do that (and Ridge then could have found a new woman to distract himself and make Caroline jealous)? It wasn't nice to Caroline either. One episode Stephanie pushing C. to go to the hospital and telling Caroline that even if Caroline has to lie, she has to make up with Thorne and make him believe that Caroline isn't in love with Ridge, then asking Caroline to help Stephanie to find the right woman for Ridge, the man Stephanie has accused Caroline to still be in love with (and that Caroline recently had sex with). Stephanie has other children. Why wouldn't Kristen be able to set Ridge up with some female friends? What is nice about that?

It was really had to see true love between Ridge and Caroline..flirting yes..but their relationship was obsessively creepy. Also the Chemistry with Ronn and Katherine was way to electric and fun to watch..so much ease ..and undeniably hot chemistry. Joanna and Ronn were just ok and it seemed like it took to much effort..their scenes became very tedious to watch.
