Exactly. And Brooke just made the statement that she bets Stephanie was like this when she and Eric first met so what happened in those years in between? Marriage to a philandering cheating man like Eric Forrester is what happened to her. And then he turned around and blamed her for it as excuses for him to cheat. People seem to forget that for decades Eric hid from Stephanie her father's will from her which gave the company only to her and her children. Eric was never supposed to own the company outright and any other women or children he had was never supposed to share the profits.

The mishap at Pierre's was truly the most hilarious thing I have seen on this show in decades! It was almost Shakespearean level comedy of errors (or in this case manipulations). The writers must have had a lot of fun planning out this scene together in the CBS offices.

The scene at Pierre's is such a good portrayal of the *Chance vs Design* theme that runs through B&B. Taylor & Ridge seeing each other with other people was by Design (Blake & Brooke's) but Stephanie and Eric showing up there too was just Chance. And all six people who will be involved in the main romantic drama over the next year are laid out right there for us to see, paired up in what could be the ideal outcome (but won't be).
