Bold and the Beautiful - 2003 (S16 E134) FULL EPISODE 4020

Clarke follows Darla home when she has to leave the office because she isn’t feeling well. Darla appreciates Clarke’s concern but shows him the door, then opens a bag to reveal a pregnancy test. Thorne and Macy visit the doctor to get the green light on starting a family. Massimo and Dominick are unable to resolve the issue of the identical rings. Later, when Dominick questions his mother about it, she’s upset that he mentioned it to Massimo. Sally suggests that if Massimo can’t find another girl for Ridge, he should find another guy for Brooke. Upon meeting Brooke, Dominick is immediately flirtatious which Massimo overhears. Massimo tells Dominick he wants to discuss his next assignment as soon as possible.

This Macy/Thorne/Darla storyline isn't even a storyline. It's the _outline_ of a storyline, moving way too quickly, with only a minimum of key scenes included and nothing in between. Here, over the course of just one episode, we have Thorne and Macy talking for the first time about trying to have a baby, and by the end of the episode, they are already seeing a fertiIity doctor (and supposedly Macy has been seeing her several times before, off screen). Meanwhile, it is obvious that Darla is pregnant. It really feels as if now that BeII has introduced the new Marone characters, he just wants the Spectra storyline out of the way.

Besides rewriting history to ruin Tridge to prop up Bridge, another thing I don't like that they did was ignore Thorne and Macy's history. He ends up with Darla and she's the mother of his only child, but they didn't have that long history like he had with Macy. If anything I think Macy was the real love of his life, not Darla. I did like Thorne and Darla though, just not as much as he and Macy.

Nick really doesn't seem to care about his job. 😏 He keeps being disrespectful - smoking in that office, putting his feet up on that desk while making his call, staying after that call and using Ridge's pen organizer to put out that cigarette.

Even though I don’t like Brooke, I have to say that I really liked Brooke and Nick back in the day. Out of every single “destiny” Brooke had in her life, I think Nick brought a different side of her as a character that was not purely based on scandals, sex or everything else. Unfortunately, they were ruined too. 😅

Well you can't really compare. Bridge was mostly one-sided the first 15 years, and now this old version of Ridge has no appeal whatsoever.
