Coming from Mr. Bass quite a compliment! Thank you Jeremy!

It occured to me on the rewatch I didn't hold that bass properly. Always just hold them straight up and down, or support their body with your other hand if holding horizontally. Lucky for the bass, it was only about a two pounder so hopefully no worse for the wear. No excuses though, I screwed that up.

Thank you for the video Blake. I grew up on Black Lake and used to fish for rainbow trout and bass with my dad, never did catch much. It's a pleasure to see it again. We need to get our families together and catch up.

Thanks so much! Absolutely. I didn't catch much either so we're even. Ha ha.

Hi Blake! Are you planning on salmon fishing marine area 13 this year? Loved your chinook video of fish trap, minus the blown motor. We fish off the delta along the train tracks and do fairly well.

Oh yeah! Shingo and I will probably see you out there. We fish around Nisqually from time to time.

Excellent work and enjoyable to watch as always. I like the way you perceiver through the technical and logistical setbacks. Pro tip: a little oil on that reel will quiet it right down. Also, if you’re taking requests I’d love to see a mountain whitefish episode.
@WAFishQuest3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Troy! I do need to set a side an hour or two and give my army of reels a little oil love. I'll try to do Mt whitefish this winter or next. It's been on my mind!

Another fun video! I fish that lake from time to time, i usually just fish the dock at the campground. Where’s that open access area on the north end of the lake?
@WAFishQuest3 жыл бұрын
If you drive down the very short section of road, Black Lake Belmore Rd, that runs by the lake, can't miss it! And that's right off Black Lake Blvd.

Moving to the area soon..looks like this will be the closest lane to me….I’m sure if a kayak is legal a float tube should be too?
@WAFishQuest Жыл бұрын
Oh yeah. You can put a kayak or float tube in wherever in Washington. You'll have a lot of good small lakes in the area to fish too. 🤙

Have you ever fished the black river.? I’ve heard it good but I’ve never fished it. I just duck hunt on it. Also, how about chambers lake for bass.? I’ve seen some hogs in there.!
@WAFishQuest3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! No but I've always wanted too. I've heard it's full of rock bass. I remember checking the regs once and it was closed but don't remember if it was just out of season. Thanks! I will try Chambers some day! Probably from my dinghy on a nice day.

@@WAFishQuest we should pick a day and try Chambers Lake.! I’ve fished it a few times. It’s a great kayak lake, very shallow. I watched a guy pull a 6 lbs large mouth out of there one morning.! Small lake to, not a ton of paddling required

Hey! I think I know you... You stole my chips at that poker game! I only do the fish facts on WA Fish Quest regular episodes. This, and most I've been doing lately, are "sidequests." Which require much less prep/work!
