Regarding your argument: Ridge NEVER used his children to have a wife or pointed out to them that he had children with her and then got them back. Brooke has done this again and again, even with children who are not really assigned to this man like Hope. At first she kept reminding Ridge that Hope was his daughter too. When she was with Nick and who eventually turned to Taylor, she reminded him several times that Hope was his daughter. So it is not a problem if someone has several children from different partners. It is a problem using these children as a power game.

@@feuerwehrluetzen Actually Ridge used RJ many times to get Brooke back. I think they all did in some ways. That's what all kids are in soaps, just plot devices, just a way to get couple back together, even though we don't live in the 50s, but writers pretend we do. 🤭🤭🤭
