What's even worse is their last wedding attempt in '22. The World Renown Psychiatrist© gets told by her daughter that her Disturbed son used a child to break up Ridge and Brooke and she was STILL considering going through with it. Having watched through season 7, I can say with confidence that Taylor has always been this desperate to ignore the red flags large enough to be visible from Pluto to get Ridge. It's sad, really.

Why does Taylor fight so hard to be with a man who simply doesnt want her? Whatever love she and Ridge once had ended a long time ago and his love and loyalty mainly belongs to Brooke. Taylor needs to just move on finally but for some reason she never could.

Not really. As someone mentioned, he was a bit young and then she died while he was still pretty young . Though she was close to Steffy,Phoebe and Thomas when they were younger than RJ, so there’s no excuse to not have spent time with him from birth til she died. Heck, she was really close to Rick and Bridget back in the day and treated them like her own, even though I’m sure it wasn’t easy to see a living reminder of Eric’s time with Brooke . ( the bond was especially strong when they were younger and while Rick was with Amber and Bridget with Deacon). Even Hope had a strong bond with Stephanie . So to wrap up my rambling, I never gave it much thought until you mentioned it, but I don’t recall any significant bond with RJ. And given what I mentioned about how she loved Brooke’s kids , it’s not because of him being Brooke’s child. It’s like the writers forgot about that .

What a joke again,Ridge loved Brooke always and for his mother and son to destroy their relationship and make Brooke feel like the worst woman in the world is beyond disgusting,Thomas was getting bad way back then and just like Steffy it ran in their bl😢from Taylor and the Marone’s blood since they aren’t true Forrester’s,Ridge should’ve trusted Brooke to not sleep with his son even after some of the things she had done,She was a good friend to Thomas and was there for Stephanie and both betrayed her and Ridge,Ridge was miserable and it showed,He knew Taylor would marry him even being second choice again and all based on a lie,Brooke showed what a good woman she was to let go of the love of her life and believe she could do that to Ridge with his son,Brooke did some terrible things but she would’ve never slept with Thomas,He was a boy she took care of when they believed Taylor was dead, I was just happy to see the truth come out by Stephanie since Thomas was a greedy selfish little boy pretending to be a caring man.

The writers changed their relationship after Taylor came back from the dead the second time in 2005. in the 90s Brooke was second choice. That's why Brooke was with Eric, Thorne, Deacon, Grant Chambers because couldn't have Ridge at those times. Brooke was only married to Ridge when Taylor was "dead". When Taylor came back in 2005 they made Brooke the love of his live all of a sudden and they made Taylor desperate.
