Amber and Rick wish little Eric was with them and not trapped with Deacon. Rick and Kimberly make peace with each other. Brooke is amazed that Stephanie has not come to stop the wedding. Stephanie makes it very clear to Brooke that her acceptance of this marriage has to do with the next generation of Forresters and not Brooke. The ceremony begins and the guests are shocked to see Stephanie walking Brooke down the aisle.

I’m trying to decide what annoys me more -Stephanie being forced to seemingly co-sign this charade; Kimberly miraculously being turned into a pod person who just wants the best for everyone no matter what it means for her (or the dead sister she so loved); or the swelling, romantic music in the background trying to manipulate us into finding this tackiness heartwarming. Oh, wait, it’s none of those; it’s that Quisling Eric having the balls to tell his ex-girlfriend that he’s “disappointed” in his wife. F*ck you, Eric. I enjoyed the 5 minutes you showed your wife some loyalty like a decent human being. On the plus side, we had some fun as well. My highlights: Stephanie rolling her eyes behind Brooke’s back when she hugged her; (SF, be honest, you did that for the fans), and Ridge literally stopping to preen and get everyone’s attention (I heard actual gasps) when he strode into the room in his tux. Thorne has spent his entire life trying to get out of Ridge’s shadow, and he invites him to his big day, only for Ridge to steal the limelight from him 😂. But I think my favorite part was this: Thorne, excitedly: “She came for us in the end!” (Referring to Stephanie) Me, smirking: “Buddy, she literally told your soon to be wife 5 minutes ago that she *didn’t* show up for you, she did it for Rick and Bridget. Upstaged by one of your siblings yet again!”

SO with you on all of this! The writing in these last few episodes has been terrible. If they really wanted Stephanie to do it for the kids, she could've just attended the wedding. Walking Brooke down the aisle was unnecessary and completely out of character. Nothing in these last few episodes have felt earned or plausible - including Brooke's reaction to Morgan in episode 3469!

What a romantic wedding dress... It's the one Thorne bought for Brooke in Venice right before she ended up on the bed with his brother. The one Brooke put on so she could have a secret intimate "wedding dance" with Thorne while he was married to Macy. The one Thorne was trying (unsuccessfully) to hide from Macy so she wouldn't find out the truth about what happened in Venice. Every seam of that dress has deception, betrayaI and heartbreak sewn into it.

Brooke's life was all about getting Stephanie's recognition and love (which she got, 25 years after episode 1 🙏)

LOL. 'Marriage'. As of 2024, Brooke has been married 15 times or something, 8 of those times to Ridge. These people just need a one-year exclusivity contract, that expires without any other obligations after a year. Everyone would be much happier. Instead, they get 'married' as if it is permanent, when all of the 20 marriages on this show even up to this point in 2001 lasted a year or two each, on average.
