When Stephanie walked in and saw Thorne, her initial reaction was so moving. It was clear that she really missed him. And her disappointment at finding out he was going to marry Brooke was poignant too. Great performance!

Often we make jokes about how little Stephanie cares about Thorne, in comparison with Ridge of course. I loved that smile when she saw him and the deep pain she displayed when she left, it was so heartfelt.

But there is also alot to be said about Steph's absolute loyalty to all her children when it matters most (which is why it was so inexplicable NOT having her involved when Thorne was in jail). Problem is, Thorne isn't written well as a character or integrated into storylines. And when he is included, it's bc he's an absolute mess doing messy things..

This is just it. Brooke clearly was never going to listen to Bridget. She was just hoping that Bridget would "adjust" more easily if she got some mother-daughter time (half of which was spent with Brooke on the phone with Thorne).

@@annieo6527 at least Bridgit got a trip to somewhere.. Rick used to get nothing. He threw a dinosaur at James and she worried about that all of 60 seconds. When Rick was having his meltdown about this same issue with Ridge, Brooke barely spent any time with him and kept trying to get him to spend more time with Ridge. Her solution when he got in the fight at Thorne's wedding, was to take his pulverised body for ice cream at midnight 🤕... Then when she couldn't do that, she just ran out the place without a thought for him. And it was even worse when Grant was around.. She flat out ignored him til he literally lost his mind. However, this time, Brooke notably took Rick to lunch to thank him for helping push a married Thorne back to her. This character really is the worst mother I have seen on daytime TV... And that's saying alot.
