We usually watch you two via YT on TV, however; we felt compelled to comment here of the La Paz section of the video. I have been in La Paz several times during my 8 years of journeys south of Mexico and found the "brebaje de brujas" section the most interesting since it tied together another episode. This whole presentation S3:E67 was excellent and hit my sweet spot of entertainment. I found you late in my YT experience and became captivated by you and everything you do. So here is to you and your channel and the experiences you will present to us. Cheers.

Wow!! Well, first off, thank you so much for your kind words and for supporting the channel! Secondly, I'm especially glad that, having been to La Paz yourself, you enjoyed and appreciated the episode. It can be daunting to explore subjects that some might consider controversial or disrespectful. Especially considering how much we love Bolivia! I'm glad you enjoyed the episode, and thank you again for supporting the channel!!

Man I'm not a biker but I do love a good story and spectacular scenery. Bolivia wasn't on my list of countries to visit but I might just have to add it. So many great things in this series. I think what makes this channel stand out is the great storytelling. Captivating, edge of your seat entertainment.

First time commenting after watching the whole video, glad you were able to get the clutch going, traffic in La Paz seems to be worse than any traffic that I have seen, very crazy about the Pachamama rituals.

My son was toring South America countries last year. He rode down some road, that is claimed to be most dangerous road, in Bolivia on a bicycle. Said there was 6,000 ft elevation change from top to bottom.
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets7 ай бұрын
That's the Death Road! All the truth told, I think the elevation loss is closer to 9k ft.

Yeah... the live human sacrifice thing kind of caught me off guard. When researching the piece, I found a video online of a local tour guide who had just clawed his way out of the earth after being buried alive at one of the festivals... 😬

I’m all for adventure, but I nearly had to put on a clean pair of pants after watching the Death Road section. I was expecting you to go hunt for a new clutch the moment you entered La Paz. Hope you can squeeze some more miles out of it. I recall you building/installing a new clutch several videos ago. How many km’s/miles did you get out of that one ? Ride safe.
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets7 ай бұрын
Ha ha... didn't mean to make you soil your skivvies!! 😅 We're actually still running the same clutch plates. I picked up a spare kit just in case, but haven't had to install them yet... Go figure!

Death Road! You made it. Honestly, LA Paz scares me more than the Death Road. (Feel free to hit a Coward joke here) Although the crowded streets reminded me a little of Yellowstone last week. Lol. Thanks for the witches market, lama fetuses, and human skulls. Very interesting! You are the best channel on the webasphere! Stay awesome.
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets6 ай бұрын
I agree wholeheartedly. The only thing that made the Death Road at all challenging was road construction through the landslide. That said, one false move, and that's it. A solo rider I crossed the Darien Gap with in 2019 disappeared in this very region, never to be heard from again. Some suspected foul play, others that he intended to disappear. But there are way too many roads like the North Yungas that will swallow you whole if you make a mistake. BUT... Yellowstone might be the most dangerous of all!! Anytime there is wildlife near the road, people are too busy trying to take photos to bother looking where they're going. I've almost been run over multiple times in Yellowstone! Beautiful indeed, but way too crowded the wrong time of year!! 😪
@andrewlong54447 ай бұрын
Wow, good move keeping left against cliff face, what a road, worth it, well done. If there was ever a reason to embrace sobriety knowing about 'Pachamama' practices would suffice 🙂NZ

I first heard of the Death Road on Top Gear. Seems amazing to ride. Anyone who is into this kind of riding and adventure, I'd encourage you checkout the "Cliffhanger section on Killar-Kishtwar Road (now closed)" and "Sach Pass" both in India. Amazing routes.
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets7 ай бұрын
Yeah, it's definitely a "bucket list" road for a lot of people, and where a lot of people also (unfortunately) kicked the bucket!!! The Himalayas are at the top of our "where next" list, so I'll definitely check those out!! 👍

Great trip. I personally feel that plastic stickers plastered everywhere is just graffiti without the spray can and will be a liability for the sport in the future. Cheers,ed
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets7 ай бұрын
Thank you! You know... I can't argue regarding the stickers. Obviously, there are a lot of businesses that not only allow but encourage you to place your stickers. But when it comes to road signs and the like, I tend to either place or sticker on the signpost or the back so as not to obscure the sign itself.
@kevinbowers39177 ай бұрын
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets not Karen, just a thought. I saw some National Forest signs plastered and thought "this ain't good, and calls attention." I sure hope the masses joining the hobby care as much as y'all do about 'cleaner than we came.' Kudos on the life's journey, it takes a couple of brass pairs if you get me. Cheers from Appalachia VA. back roads.
