I remember liking Befikre when I watched it. I thought the first half was fun. The fact that I didn't enter the cinema for six years after watching it was an unrelated coincidence. I did try to rewatch it a few weeks back, but the slut shaming and Ranveer playing the shallow-male stereotype in the first half hour or so was off-putting. As I type, I recall unironically liking Student of the Year and Jab Tak Hai Jaan - the first more than the second. And props to Snayhill, a man of good taste and culture, for mentioning chain kulii ki main kulii. Proper sahi jawab that is.

_Break Ke Baad_ (why? Dunno 🤷🏽‍♂️) and _Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola._ Yeh mahaz ittefaq hai ki mujhe dono filmen pasand hai aur dono mein Imran Khan hai-I think. I mean, sure, obviously Imran ka Haryanvi accent kaafi kharab tha, aur inconsistent bhi from one scene to the next, but it’s still a funny film IMO. (The scene where the blind kid is kvetching to the media about his lost/stolen underwear is fucking hilarious.) That Rahul Bose cricket movie kinda sounds like it’s -ripped off from- -inspired by- somewhat similar to the 1993 Hollywood movie, _Rookie of the Year,_ which is about a 12-year-old kid who loves baseball but sucks at playing. He accidentally breaks his arm, and after it heals, he discovers that he can suddenly throw over 100 miles per hour, so he gets signed to play for his favorite team, the Chicago Cubs (the movie also featured cameos by some baseball superstars, like Ken Griffey, Jr.).

Jitna collection hota hai uska aada paisa producer ko milta hai. 25 cr k budget pe 35 cr collections means producer ko 15 - 17 cr hee ayega. Plus, satellite n music rights. Its barely break-even. #PatialaHouse

The funny thing is that out of "Chen Kuli ki Mein Kuli" and "Tarzan" and "Aisha", Aisha is actually definitely a worse movie. Because while the other two are movies deliberately made simple and silly for children, Aisha is a very very terrible adaptation of Emma, which takes away all the substance and keeps only the high-society.
