While in maximum movie arijit is giving is voice. I am not saying he is bad singer. I have no rights to say. But he is overrated singer. Sp balasubranyam has said sonu nigam is his favourite singer. Pritam has said sonu nigam is king of voice expression and complete singer. Srk has said sonu nigam is his favourite singer. But he is still not getting chance. Arjit Singh is an exception in today's singer. Arjit is most versatile . KK couldn't sing classical songs like Arjit because KK was not classically trained.

A singer's voice should be like when we press the play button,his/her first intro line should transcend time and space and we should enter into another dimension. The voice should be heavenly...I am a huge fan of KK. I love Arijit a lot. Even when i sing at home,i sing his songs most of the time as because kk songs are high pitched and I don't dare to sing that. I honestly feel among all the songs that came from 2014 to present... Arijit's Sawaare is the one which is beyond this world.. It has that charm which i explained above. Rest only one voice after Rafi sahaab and kishore da which transcends time is the Mesmerizer's voice KK. Just listen toh the song of kk which our brother has sung at the end of this video. It is out of this world. Listen to Tu mujhe soch kabhi, Guzaarish, Dil kyu yeh mera, Yeh kaha mil gaye hum and many more. I bet you will be taken to another dimension by his voice. Today's singers lack that. Only Arijit has kept the soul of music else it would have been a memory.

Given the overwhelming breakthrough in the taste and nature of music since the early 2000s, singers of this generation can't be potently compared with those of our parents' or grandparents' generations. The present-day-singers are bereft of skilled lyricists, and need to fall back upon mediocre songs to gain stardom. This is why Sonu Nigam and Shaan have almost put a cessation to his career in Bollywood. Shreya Ghoshal, on the other hand, is engrossed in Bengali and South Indian industries. That being said, it's really horrendous to put singers across different generations on the altar of comparison.

I think the reason behind the lack of experimentation in music lies in the title 'Bollywood music" itself. Bollywood music has always been situational since it revolves around the narrative of a film. Earlier, almost all Bollywood movies used to have songs. But nowadays, mostly romcoms or massy movies have proper soundtracks. Many good movies are being made but they don't have many songs. I think it's high time we separate our mainstream music from Bollywood so that aaj ke artists bhi apne dil baat music ke through keh sake.!

After watching your 4-5 videos I realised that not only iam there who is not happy with this kind of trendy music but you are also there and I must say that our taste of music is same 😀Main jab bhi yahi batein apne friends or cousins ko bolti to wo offend ho jate or bolte ki tu in singers se chidti hai isiliye aisa keh rahi hai ya tu baba adam ke zamane ki hai 😂 But I'm very happy ki ap ekdam sahi cheezein logon tak pahucha rahe hai atleast thodi andbhakti to kam hogi 👍

Bhai you should take a look on thode kam ajnabi, lamha,rihaa,dil ud ja re by arijit . You will be surprised that aaj bhi authentic compositions zinda hai specially lamha (60s wali vibe), thode kam ajnabi(proper Bollywood song joh 2010 se pehle bante the) . 2000-2010 tak bahat jayda accche singers hote the... Sonu, Shaan, KK, Shankar Mahadevan etc etc were the best singers on that decades... But 2010-2020 tak ek Arijit ke ilawa koi aur accha singer nehi aya jiske saath Sonu, Shaan ko compare kiya jaye... Level and quality of present singers are below average compared to previous decade singers except Arijit...

Thank you for your honesty bhai. I have been going through the same thing where I couldn't exactly understand why I was not vibing with music of past decade. All I could tell was that most of it lacks a soul. My logic has been that if I can't remember a song, it's melody and lyrics after a few years and hum with it, then it probably didn't deserve my attention in the first place. I watched most of your videos today in a go and this video was the truth. Still when we want express ourselves or we want to relate our mood to a song. It relates more to the songs of kk, mohit chauhan, sonu nigam, shan and one of my fav atif. In the song of this decade I liked songs like Jane de by atif but if you see it doesn't has much views. And best portion of your video was about lyrics. Being a writer's son I love when a song has a deeper meaning and you get lost in those lyrics Overall your videos are great and keep going on
