Nice vid! let me tell you, the bpm issue that you got is not really an issue, the bpm limit is based on the knob 190 degreed angle, in this case you will need to put the tempo a little bit behind and with shift get to 163 bpm, yes it possible to have desired bpm! it kinds of tricky, sorry my english

Few days made 4 beats so far. Crazy thing is yes limitions but I like that made me come back to the Mpc and make a beat differently also

Got my MK2 from zZounds 8 months ago. Bolo is the man and the MK2 is the best bang for your buck. It can do many things well but if they fix that chromatic mode it will be the game changer!!

for future reference, you are able to copy select sounds from one pattern to the next. (i.e, just the drums) to make the sample change effortless

Hey what’s up Bolo I have an sp404mk2 in order to take gate off of all of your samples you need to press the remain button then press the gate button and it will take the gate off on all the sounds also the SP doesn’t have a song mode of course you have to bounce the stems individually out and structure of the whole song in a DAW there’s nothing around it that’s just how it is using an SP but I know you’re used to doing that since you do that on the MPC as well. There’s also no time stretching on the sp404 so you have to pitch the samples up and down to match the tempo it’s very challenging but you can make it work I’ve done that many times with my Lo-Fi Beats and it worked for me

You could structure a song with the Pattern Chain. In Pattern Mode, press the Hold button. You'll need to create some Patterns using the Pattern Sequencer

Bolo finesse’n the 404! Defo do more vids with it. You can copy patterns without certain pads so you don’t have to go deleting. Also in start/end point screen press roll to hear just before the end of the sample (like pad 3 on mpc). 💪😎

I honestly just plug my hardware synths into it and use the effects. Got the mega synthesis running through it and its fantastic. Spvidz is the sp404 sauce channel. You actually dont have to fingerstyle your drums in. There is an easier way to do it. Ill make a quick vid and post it for ya. Its especially helpful for trap hihats

I don't understand the hype? The Sp 404mk2 has damn good effects, yes ,yes! But in terms of sampling, the device could come from the Stone Age. Even my old mpc 2000xl has more functions than this thing. And what goes in and especially what comes out is hip hop in its purest form. This overpriced toy can't keep up.
