Obviously a long time since you made this video Pete. After the last few years I've come back to the game in a big way and this is the best unboxing I've seen so far.

would you recommend building them as the book says if you plan to increase the army sizes later?
@TheWaggishAmerican4 жыл бұрын
imma snag one of these I think. I don't really know anyone atm who plays but this seems like a good way to deal with that plus this entire set could make one army, my SS another, and I could do Itter if someone would play with me

Can you do painting tutorials for all of this?
@kevingilligan57908 жыл бұрын
A German grenadier painting tutorial would really help

Sorry bit late to this video. Are the us troops sculpted for market garden with m43 uniform and buckle boots (as per the box art) or are they sculpted for d-day with jump boots and m42 uniform?

I just got the set! What scenarios/campaign can I use to play with this starter set?
@sylanrioran43657 жыл бұрын
are the uniforms on the airborne minis specifically M43 or can you paint them M42 uniform colors?? is there any difference in the modeling that would make this impossible
@aidangeis46867 жыл бұрын
There are slight differences but nothing really noticable. I painted mine as m42 to match the lt. Spiers mini I have and they look great! (The only noticable differences are the helmet netting and the lack of gloves, but paint can make up for that)

The thumbnail says review, but the video says unboxing. All I wanted to know how many points per army were in the box.

So... if I want to play game by other model, then I must buy armies ruleboke?
@jacobb.91816 жыл бұрын
209 Pioneer you need the rule book, not the starter set

This is all fantastic if you are a great painter. Building the models is bad enough, but I can't paint to save my life, nor have the money to pay a pro. So I miss out.

A bit late here, but this isn't something one should worry about. Painting is a learned skill, not something people are born with. You need to do it to learn it. Without prior art knowledge, your early figures will probably not look like the box art or fancy internet posts, and that is perfectly fine. My early stuff is really crusty, but with time, patience, practice, and an open mind, the paint jobs got better.
