In today's video, JD show's this beautiful Antimatter Blue GT500's journey with the Apex line of VMP Predator parts!
After a baseline with a cold air and cat back exhaust, it heads in the shop to get our Apex Predator hub and 2.7" pulley kit, the VMP Apex Predator Supercharger Lid Upgrade packaged with our VMP Apex Street Core intercooler core, and our billet water manifold. It's then dialed in with a VMP custom tune to pick up 139 rwhp via the killer parts and custom calibration!

Custom tunes? I have a FP700 kit on my F150 and find the tune is super safe along with the lame 100mph limiter. I’m getting some GESI cats welded onto some long tubes so that I don’t blow out a cat. My question for you is what would a pump gas tune cost. The only performance shop near me is Off The Line Performance but I’ll have to rent the dyno for a couple hours to be able to get in within a reasonable time frame.

Parts, tuning, and labor were around $5700 all done in house. Parts themselves were a touch over $4k. We have a few packages available, but this particular assortment was set up in conversation with the customer. We can happily set you up with this as a package.
