Please don't use a Tap the way he did - turn it clockwise to cut and then slightly anticlockwise before turning clockwise to cut again. His way you will destroy the tap and could damage the threads you just cut. By turning slightly anticlockwise you give the tap breathing space and cut cleaner threads (don't forget to oil as well)

The drill is usually 0.5 thinner than the tap from my experience

bdk and blb aswell, my bdk loosened, and jumped several tooth on both intake and exhaust cams, nothing bad happend, pure luck

I had the same problem, timing belt had like 10k km on it and the stud broke destroying the engine
