Love watching the videos get some good tips I am a pleasure angler I would like to know how you keep your bomb rig at the same distance do you clip up

Great vid Jamie but if you are taking inspiration from the carp lads maybe you should have a look at the naked helicopter rig for fishing over silt as it allows the lead to go into the silt and leave the hook link laying in the top of the silt. I fish coarse and carp and I use this method on both.

Rich what rod is he using there mate, lovely action for doing that 👌

Every time I hear Jamie say he's using reflections as markers I cringe.... Reflections move as the sun moves. So over a five hour match it could be a massive difference depending on what direction your facing on the compass. That's how a sun dial works for all I know. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Pretty sure shadows move (and are used on sundials) and reflections are static. So as long as you’re not lining up to shadows then you’ll be fine 👍🏻

the guys right ive fished larford for 35 years and you dont want to clip up at larford and dont fish the pole down the inside use rod and line ive had carp to 28 pound from there and on there first the hook will pull out

wow must be nice here in the US many states make chumming fish illegal. if they catch us throwing food in to gather them together theres some fines for that.

Great video Jamie as usual love the tip with the silicon on the hook After say every 5 minutes I twitch the bait a couple of turns and sometimes sparks a bite would this be something you do!

Is that landing net pole not long enough i wonder? lol nice vid anyway
@WinningWays4 жыл бұрын
Once you get used to using a 4m handle you will never go back. Makes a HUGE difference.
@cns1807844 жыл бұрын
@@WinningWays I take it you keep it beside you, so that the landing net pole is trailing behind you? the problem with that though then, is impeding walkways or any space behind you for people to walk by, but i get what you're saying.
@WinningWays4 жыл бұрын
cns180784 most commercial venues will have the space needed, on venues such as canals where foot traffic is an issue just store it along the bank instead 👍🏻

@@WinningWays I see the obvious benefits to using such a long landing net pole, especially for match fishing but i dont fish matches anyway.

Double pellet drilled through the side has been around for years but love the way Andy makes out Jamie has invented the wheel. 😂 Nothing new to learn here. Great to watch these two but haven’t shown anything special.
