The co-op missions are the best part of the game right now. You can find a game on PC quickly since it only requires four players.

True, but that's just fighting AI I do the same quite regularly on PC with mods but, I dunno, I miss the online feeling, I miss how lively some of the Galactic Assault maps were, you just don't really get that in Coop or Instant Action. Not sure I'll even be able to find players online on PC though.

@@Max09020Coop is only 4 players playing AI together. Even the enemy Heroes/Villains are AI in Coop. It is a lot of fun, though

The American servers for PlayStation don’t have any problems finding games. The only veterans with a lot experience hang out in heroes vs villains, but you still only have trouble finding an Ewok hunt game loo

"Can't find a game?" In US East (Playstation) if I click the quickmatch button it puts me in starfighter assault. Sometimes when I'm trying to quickly click on the HvV mode I accidentally click on Hero Starfighters. And guess what, it finds me a server immediately. Showdown, HvV, Supremacy, Galactic Assault, and Blast are always popular too.

As someone who's a bit of a vet, if you play HvV you'll almost always find a game quickly, same thing with co-op. But with HvV, you have to play well as a team. I've gotten my ass kicked by relatively nooby enemies because they worked as a team while my team would go in one on one. It's 4v4, not 1v1v1v1v1v1, you get the point. It's always easier to do well if you have someone to play with. Most vets tend to be relatively toxic unfortunately, but sometimes if you ask, they may give you some tips. I always give tips when ppl ask how I do certain things. Back in the day I'd even invite people to a Party so I could help them in real time.

5:47 im on xbox. no matter what time of day it is, the only era i dont find a match in within a few minutes is the sequel one. ive played in the morning, afternoon, even at 2-4 am, and never had trouble finding matches. at least not for the main modes. but then again, it is free on gamepass and they recently gave out the celebration edition for free also, so i imagine that brought in a few newer players. I never really played the game before now

Have you heard of kyber private servers? They're about to release version 2.0, in short they are private servers that you can play with mods with other people, and they're adding proximity chat too. It's only on PC, but I think it is an incredible thing that could revitalize the game. Also I totally love co op, that's the most fun in my opinion, plus populates pretty quick in this time and age where not many people are playing.

Lots of nonsense in this video, this game is far from dead. Servers are full on Xbox and PS (US servers). And sequel maps are not featured in the rotation any more often than other era maps.

This is why I hate games that are purely multiplayer or have "forced" PVP, if no one is actively playing the game isn't really much of a game anymore.. if a game has multiplayer but is mainly co-op focused, then usually players will come back and stick around, look at Warframe, PVP in that game is dead... no one touches it. but the PvE stuff everyone's in on it, some such as my self go solo but its still being actively played.CS-GO and TF2 are doing something right since they're still being played non stop despite being mainly pvp.

I know people talk about not getting a battle front 3, but to me battle front 2 is in the hard place of being a really good game and staying a good game or getting a new one that isn't that good and then everyone abandons battle front 2, which is still the better game. I'm honestly perfectly content with battle front 2, other than lack of new stuff, but honestly that doesn't really bother me.

I think it’s just a region thing because I’m from the uk and can find matches and pretty much everything I mainly do hvv the only mode I think is completely dead is hero starfighters but I’ve never been a fan of starfighters modes anyway it’s crazy to see how this game launched to how it ended I’m currently on 3704 hours and still have a blast

Hey Andrew, in your more recent Battlefront 2 videos, i’ve been noticing that you have difficulties in matchmaking. I think it might be the servers that you choose to play in as on my end, especially in the evening Europe time, I always get matches in all modes almost instantly. Just have a look at those servers. I play in the Germany one.
