I still feel like the game should have been you play as a Separatist droid like ND from the start. Imagine the prologue/tutorial is you in one of the last battles of the Clone Wars and ends when you get the Droid Army’s shut down order after Vader killed the CIS leadership. Next level is you waking up decades later after being scavengers find you and from there you determine what to do with your new freedom. Could have some fun RPG elements when doing replacement parts be it aesthetic (swap your head out for a B1, IG or other bounty hunter droid head) or your abilities (give yourself a super battle droid arm cannon for more firepower or a astromech hacking tool to take control of electronics )

And if you play the whole game, you learn that Kay has no love for her absentee mom... If 1 of your parents abandoned you, would you want to be forced to work with them?

Give it a try on ubisoft+, you might very well be pleasantly surprised, just as I was. One tip however, don't approach this as a stealth game, even if it has some forced story stealth parts. Most of the game is not stealth and almost none of the side content forces stealth. The blaster has some really good upgrades that makes it possible to raid Imp bases without any stealth and get out-blasted, and that is a great deal of fun imo! Beware it is realistically easy to die, so be quick on your feet if you go this route. Also exploration is very much tomb-raiderlike/uncharted-like, with lots of secrets to find.

Anyone that likes the game treats it like the second coming of jesus and treats anybody who reasonably and justifiably dislike it as a predator. Its okay to like shit but dont make it out to be chocolate cake and force other people to eat it. Theres nothing wrong with liking bad games but it is ridiculous when i see people actually compare this to a game like Black Myth Wukong. The Commando droid is not even doing something on this mission? He is a freaking commando droid why he only sits around on the ship??? I do not want to complain about a game that i have not played yet but all what it seems to be is stealth and some member berries? I mean for a 20 hour story game i am not sure if it would be worth it to me. Not sure if the Setting is enough for me to get over the repetetive gameplay. I heard that the story does not stick the landing but that would be the main reason to play this game for me. Its simply not on the level of the Cal Kestis story.

I do not want to spoil but basiclly the whole game he just sits on a chair in the ship and wishes you luck when you go on a mission. Where are the missions with him? i was intrigued by him and he is so prominent on the cover of the game so i assumed he would play a bigger role.. like a companion that goes on missions with you instead he is basiclly just a voice on the comms for most of the game. thats such wasted potential.

Yeah, but ND makes it pretty clear throughout the game that he is our Babysitter and doesnt do the jobs for us. He simply keeps a eye on Kay. Kay must do everything, ND makes sure we do it right. Remember Kay is still a noobie / rookie scoundrel in almost the entire game.
