That scream Palpatine does during his corkscrew leap is known as "Force Scream“ in Legends. It cuts one's connection to the force temporarily unless you can resist it. That‘s why Kit Fisto lasted a Bit longier than the other two and why Mace wasn‘t affected. No explanation for canon tho.

When he hurdles at Agen and Saesse he let's out a force scream which tempererily incapacitated Saesse due to his pre-cogntion, Agen was overwhelmed as he barely had time to react leading to a smoldering hole in his temple in the novel kit gets distracted as Anakin enters. Just so you know Kit Fisto isn't unlocked through a cheat code. They're actually unlocked through the in-game shop. There is a cheat code that unlocks all the characters including these two though. Also Palpatine uses a feint to kill those two Jedi. Aiming for Windu but stabbing Kolar. You don't need to air attack or get behind to hit lightsaber weilders. If you time your strikes right you'll pierce their block and insta-kill them if they aren't a boss. I'm loving the LEGO Star Wars videos by the way. It would be cool to see you cover the regular game.

You can do a combo mive where you basically chain the melee button to break your enemy’s guard. Just hit and as soon as that first animation is over hit again then wait then hit. Thats the best way to fight in this game. Not just mash

From what I've heard, the reason why the other two Jedi didn't kill Sidious immediately is because the scream Sidious made while jumping at them is a Sith Shout/Scream, meaning it was to disorient those in front of him who heard him scream. While the other two died instantaneously, Kit Fisto was able to last longer with his enhanced speed related to his species, but nothing else helped him that much so he also soon died. The reason Mace Windu wasn't effected by the scream was because he has an ability known as Shatterpoint, which can break down the opponent while fighting them, combined with Windu's ability with a lightsaber it made a deadly combo and nearly defeated Sidious.

Apparently, the Sith Scream dazed them temporarily, long enough for Palpatine to defeat to two strongest Jedi there. Kit Fisto was then killed apparently because he could sense Anakin and that made him lose focus for a split second.

In the original novelization of ROS, it says that when Palpatine attacked it looked like a shadow or blur of smoke. I always wished they would've done that effect in the movie. That book came out the day before the film premiered, so I had it read before I saw it for the first time. I wish it was still canon because it filled in so many gaps and questions left from the films. Like Windu's hesitance toward Anikin and Palpatine's friendship (because he sensed it as a shatterpoint), Why it was decided that Yoda should go to Kashyyyk instead of someone like Windu or Fisto (because the council felt that if Yoda left Correscant, the Sith embedded in the Chancellor's cabinet might inadvertently reveal themself), or Cody's line right after he received order 66 ("Couldn't you have told me BEFORE I gave him back his lightsaber?").

Also in that scene of the book, it was shown that Palpatine was recording audio of the "arrest" which was manipulated to make it look like the Jedi were arresting Palpatine as part of a coup, with false crys of "on what charges" and calls for help to his guards in the hall (after he locked himself and the Jedi in his private chamber from a button on his desk). All we saw in the film of this elaborate deception was "it's treason then..." not nearly the same impact.

As cool as this mod is, don’t get me wrong it’s really great, if this was in the original game this is how I would’ve handled it: During the first phase you’re playing as two Jedi trying to defeat the Palpatine. After you defeat his first phase a Cutscene plays where the Jedi have the upper hand but then Aniken jumps in to support the senator. From there you’re playing as the chosen one and his new dark lord trying to defeat the Jedi which ultimately ends with Windu being launched out the window by the Sith Lord

The reason why Palpatine's Arrest isn't in Lego Star Wars: The Video Game or The Complete Saga, is because the original Lego Star Wars: The Video Game came out two months before Revenge Of The Sith was released. So I assume Lucas told Tt Games to keep spoilers to a minimum. As a kid who couldn't read at the time, I never knew the context why Anakin became bad in Chapter 6: Darth Vader level. So it would've been nice if Lucasarts delayed LSW1 with a few months when ROTS has been released, and Lucas would've given permission to use more spoilers of ROTS. Maybe we would've gotten Palpatine's Arrest with a cutscene at the end where Anakin chops Windu's hand off, and Palpatine finishes him off, like in the movie. This would've given better context to me as a kid who couldn't read the title crawls at the start of each level. If Palpatine's Arrest was an actual level, (and because LSW has six chapters each episode) I think it should've replaced the Chapter 4: Defense On Kashyyyk level

Palpatine actually used FORCE SCREAM which stunned the Jedi and rendered them unable to act in time before he moved with immense speed and cut them down... The only ones who were able to were Mace and Kit Fisto, who died a few moments later because he was likely still stunned but managed to block a few hits before his death. They were caught off guard... Had they been more prepared, they may have not been as affected by the scream. Windu and his vapaad likely helped him here as well...
