The Whigs recorded the fist demo of My Curse in 1989. (The song was then known as Ciaphas). Same lyrics with a slightly faster tempo. Dulli sat on the song until Gentlemen. How Hey Cuz get on Up In It and My Curse and Sister Brother were left off is a great mystery.

Although I've never heard Scrawl before "My curse" I have to say this song makes me very curious about her songwriting. Her singing and commitment makes for an unnerving yet satisfing listen. I'm also glad I can finally see what she looks like!!

Well, since I know this song (for more than 10 years now), it did not annoy me for a second... Perhaps I listened to it more than a 1000 times, and it still has this strange power over me, brings me so much energy... Is it the kundalini being tickled?... I dunno...
