I'm pretty sure they'd look better if they left the sticker off and finished it like the rest of the club with just their logo. All other visible face surfaces look well done, why not carry that into the back?

The only thing stopping me from purchasing a set is the sticker. I hate those stickers.
@evandeforest23366 жыл бұрын
for the price of these irons you could buy your self a full set of ping eye 2s (or any other older cavity back irons) and still have 200 bucks left over. Which you could spend on a nice used driver and fairway wood or hybrids. I just don't see why you would buy these when you can get a better but used set of irons from a company with a reputation such as ping.
@SlingingBirdies6 жыл бұрын
Fair point, but when you buy used clubs there are likely going to be a couple nicks on some clubheads plus you’ll very likely need to get them regripped so you need to also factor that into the cost equation

Slinging Birdies soapy water can rejuvenate grips if your on a real tight budget and you can buy 13 karma grips of amazon for 20 bucks so even then you still way ahead. And I would rather buy a set of used irons that may have a couple nicks than a set that looks cheaply manufactured for more. This worked great for me bought a set of Cleveland ta5 gunmetals for 130 bucks used. Rubbed the grips with soapy water and had money left over for other things like wedges
@SlingingBirdies6 жыл бұрын
Actually I really like Cleveland gunmetals, and that is a great deal you got on them--I've seen the Ta5's used online for $200

Interesting set of irons my friend. I have yet to see the them over here in the UK. I know about their driver... hmm but I don't like green lol
@SlingingBirdies7 жыл бұрын
I understand re the gamma ray green, it's a divisive color but sometimes when your clubs look like the Incredible Hulk if gives the golfer a little extra motivation.

buy bombtech straight up. quit looking around and worrying youll get the wrong set for you. i wanted to return my stuff from them, after i continued to look around more after i paid online 😂 but bro i cant. i took em out and played with them, their great. and some old schools were interested in them, they loved the colorway and the green lines on the face!! BOMBTECH SHIT IS GREAT. their driver and bag are must haves at the least.

They might perform as good as the more expensive sets but they just look embarrassing and walmartish

John, thanks for your comments and I think you make a good point, the consensus is that the look could use an upgrade

I totally agree....they look cheap on the back....that is why I never pulled the pin and bought them...Instead I got some Nike Covert X irons.....they look better behind the ball
@danielcastresana23796 жыл бұрын
327$ for a set lmao. Seriously 250$ would get you a 8.5/10 set from an actual company that makes clubs

Isac H, i think your message cut off, what were you going to say?
@Chris_the_golf_guy7 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say shit, but they're very overpriced for what they are. It's more or less a basic box set quality. The cavity back is the most basic "technology" in forgiving clubs. There is nothing about these other than a hunk of metal and a $2 shaft. I have had 4 sets of them through my shop to remove the horrid grips that are on them after they've torn through, and i've hit them a number of times to see if there's any consistency. They're a good beginner club - but not for the price they're set at. You can get a MUCH better set of clubs custom built for you by The Golf Works or a good local club fitter. These are something that came out of want of the fanbase to have a branded set. Very much like the new wedges and the putters.

It’s s little too new Agey for my liking BUT that said I have noticed a definite improvement so if you can stomach the “unleash your golf greatness within” stuff , the stretches and movements do increase your range of motion and flexibility
@danielcastresana23796 жыл бұрын
with that ugly swing and fast up to the top nothing you hit will sound crisp you never fully accelerate through the ball.

Thanks Daniel, very true. Have made quite a few strides since filming this particular video.

focus on initiating the downswing with your lower body and allowing your arms to trial and extend at impact. Biggest key was learning to keep your left foot planted and as quite as throughout the swing and I repeat do not swing with a open left foot. It must be straight to prevent over rotation to the left
