I do like how La Blogothèque realized that Bon Iver was gold and maybe the best thing they'd ever capture so they filmed a metric fuuuuck ton. I'm grateful more than 10 years later.
@tomgolding74814 жыл бұрын
Kevin McQuaid It is very good. I'm not sure a verb is a metric unit of measurement though. It would be like saying "I have two walk tonnes" or "five jump tonnes"

the bit where the camera does circles round them is genius. as the mic gets closer to each of them you get an amplification of what each of them bring to the harmonies and overall sound... AMAZING!!!!

This video always makes me think that these three are magical bards who have managed to create arcane power through their music. As the song continues they grow stronger and more strained as the spell gets harder and harder. The camera spins and the intensity builds. Idk all of these Paris Bon Iver videos are just, magical? They got me through a lot.

From every aspect this video is just amazing. The scenery is interesting and intimate, the vocals are absolutely amazing, the instrumentals are unique and easy to listen to, even the camera work is exciting and gripping. Bon Iver excels once again, they have become the biggest "must see" band of the year.

I'm a percussionist. and it's so nice to see that in this video, the auxilary instruments (bell set/shakers) are actually being played by a person. Most bands these days have those instruments digitally made, instead of actually being played. It makes me happy that some people still haven't let go of what real music is.
