I met Jon in Melbourne, Australia staying at the same Hotel as the band by chance. I'd just returned from Perth back to Melbourne for work before returning home. Great memories❤ and i flew my Australian friend over from Perth to stay with me and go to the concert that the promoter Michael had given me passes to go to in Melbourne. Hence meeting Jon later and havjng a great time. Wish I'd given him my silver Asian dragon inspired pendant choker he kept admiring and asking where I'd bought it, but I was only 18 and didn't think. Definitely a top 5 of great memories. How often does a Jon bon jovi sing an Elvis song just to you❤ R.I.P Michael G. Frontier man. You were always cheeky and fun and a life long friend since that time.❤❤

Bon Jovi would never have been so famous without Slippery When Wet. What a perfect album. It became the beginning of their later to come legendary status. I watched their career blow up over the 40 yrs ive been a fan. Their music became the soundtrack of my life. My brightest days and darkest days, and all days in between. I still get butterflies when a song comes on my playlist and im 57 yrs old! My prayers go out to Jon and his ability to heal

That would be the same for any successful band. If it wasn’t for a particular album they would never of got to the status they have. Bon Jovi followed Slippery with 3 more brilliant albums after though.

Ehhh. Not it’s not perfect. It’s three singles maybe 2 or 3 additional tracks are pretty damn good but there’s def at least 4 subpar songs on it. It’s single are what’s going it’s know for. The album as a whole isn’t that great.

Don't forget the ghost writer brought in to make the songs hits. If Slippery didn't make a hit song they were out. Desmond Childs Co wrote and produced and arranged the songs. Credit and truth where it's due.

I pre-ordered my Forever cd when it was first announced we could do. Jon is sounding amazing and I absolutely love love love the first 2 songs already.
