MThrow that is the sweetest thing! Today is my 18th anniversary and like 11others my husband is deployed to the Middle East. Just trying to get through the day without missing him too much and listening to our songs. Life of an army wife! I’m sure your wife genuinely appreciates that you play this for her. Music often speaks the feelings we can’t quite put into words ourselves. I wish you many more years together!

I swear, this is one of the most underrated love songs EVER!! The powerful vocals from Jon Bon Jovi, the guitar solo and backing vocals from Richie Sambora, etc. This song is just PERFECT. Definitely gonna play this on repeat especially on Valentine's Day. edit: to all the people saying that this song was never underrated, im sorry. the reason i said that this song is underrated is because i feel like this song doesn't get that much attention in today's generation. although gen z knows the hits like livin on a prayer and it's my life, I haven't met anyone from gen z who knows this song. i still feel like it needs more attention because what a great song!!

Mine was during an emergency (careful how i spell this) caesarean, and the song was 'Don't Feel Like Dancing' by the (careful how i spell this) Scissor Sisters while awake. I told them that I could see everything in the polished reflection of the lamp above my head and they said as long as I didn't feel the cold stuff they put on my legs that I would be okay. Nice one though - they said my partner was not allowed in because if he saw what was going on he would pass out. He wasn't even allowed in to see them give me an epidural. Which was much more than I got the first time we had a child. That was when I had to wait from midnight to 8 o clock in the morning for the surgeon to come to measure me to see if it was okay for me to give birth normally because they had enrolled me in a programme called 'Term Breech Trial' which was where they call a computer in Canada to say which way your going to give birth and if it works out the hospital gets a big whole lot of money.

Lyrics : I guess this time you're really leaving I heard your suitcase say goodbye And as my broken heart lies bleeding You say true love it's suicide You say you've cried a thousand rivers And now you're swimming for the shore You left me drowning in my tears And you won't save me anymore I'm praying to God you give me one more chance, girl I'll be there for you These five words I swear to you When you breathe I want to be the air for you I'll be there for you I'd live and I'd die for you I'd steal the sun from the sky for you Words can't say what love can do I'll be there for you I know you know we've had some good times Now they have their own hiding place I can promise you tomorrow But I can't buy back yesterday And baby you know my hands are dirty But I wanted to be your valentine I'll be the water when you get thirsty, baby When you get drunk, I'll be the wine I'll be there for you These five words I swear to you When you breathe I want to be the air for you I'll be there for you I'd live and I'd die for you I'd steal the sun from the sky for you Words can't say what love can do I'll be there for you And I wasn't there when you were happy And I wasn't there when you were down I didn't mean to miss your birthday, baby I wish I'd seen you blow those candles out I'll be there for you These five words I swear to you When you breathe I want to be the air for you I'll be there for you I'd live and I'd die for you I'd steal the sun from the sky for you Words can't say what love can do I'll be there for you

@sophiabernardo6142 ай бұрын
bon jovi was my dad's favorite artist and soon became my mom's too. They would crank up the speakers listening to his music when we clean the house and we'd all sing along. Even when my dad went overseas to work, me and my mom still listen to his songs. In days that I miss my dad, I'll skip school and help my mom clean the house listening to bon jovi. I'm all grown up now and my parents have separated. I skipped my class today to stay in bed wondering why I feel so blue. That's when it hit me, I miss him. I miss my dad, I miss how my family used to be when we were all together. This song comforted me so much knowing my dad was almost absent whole my life because he was working hard for my future. I know my dad would've love to be there for me.
