Richie Sambora sound so big and heavy on this track that’s a awesome song! I hear that song for the first time I was about 14 years old in a pool room where my father used to bring me once in a while! ( My father always bring me at some great places and show me the good spots) I hear This song and « The L’umberjack song with the chainsaw by Jacky for the first time the same night ! It was a revalation! Enjoy this group! Rock And Roll! 🤟

Agreed. They were on the right way with very good albums at the grunge era. I mean "Keep the faith" and "These days". I didn't like their new vision since "Crush". Just doesn't touch me. I guess they earned a lot of younger fans, but lost many older ones, like me. Really sorry for that change.

You're joking right? What do you think these days was artistically? Jon in his black and white stepped shirt a la cobain, unshaven with his surfer hair.... Jon has ALWAYS chased trends. Lost highway was his attempt at country music when country was hugely popular... hiring Britney spears song writer when he wanted pop radio friendly stuff through crush... doing the sparkly hair rock and make up like poison through slippery... posing with motorcycles and looking like motley crue in their girls girls girls era through new Jersey... Jon has always been a trend chaser to try and stay relevant...

Just had my fiancé listen to this. She was in tears. She is pregnant, and we are getting married in less than a month. Bon Jovi songs have always held a special place for us, lyrically. We were together 17 - 18 years ago. We broke up, both got married and divorced to other people. We were apart for 10 years. She called me out of the blue 6 years ago, and it was like 10 years disappeared in 1 hour. Neither of us ever had kids until now. I feel quietly satisfied and blessed that things have worked out. We both grew in important ways while we were apart, and now we are finally ready to do this. We have both waited a long time to get to this point together, but after everything, I can't complain because I now have the rest of my life to be with my 1 true love, and God is blessing us not just with each other, but a baby later this year. These are awesome times for us, and I hope some of you out there get to experience something great like this, too.
@Meltog6 жыл бұрын
Congrats on the baby. My High School sweetheart and I were together for 10 years. We went our separate ways after that; but remained friends. We are soulmates, but had life plans that pulled us in different directions. We found our way back to each other about 10 years ago. Sadly, he was diagnosed with ALS and passed away 3 years ago. He will forever remain my one true love.

If I Was Your Mother If I was your mother Would you let me hold your hand Would you say you were my baby Would you always be my friend If I was your mother Could I teach you what’s right Could I tell you stories Maybe tuck you in And kiss you sweet goodnight Tell me what I got to do To make my life mean more to you I could get so close it’s true If I was your mother Would you always believe me ‘Cause I’d wake up in the middle Of the night Just to see if you need me Tell me there’s no mother To who you’re telling your secrets And would you tell me 'Bout all the boys you been Bringing home to meet me Tell me what I got to do To make my life mean more to you I could get so close it’s true If I was yours Mother, mother If I was your Mother, mother When love is blood You’re never on trial Love don’t get deeper Than a mother and child Oh baby, I got to get that Close to you Tell me what I got to do To make my life mean more to you I could get so close it’s true If I was yours Tell me what I got to be To make you a part of me There’s no one else you’d ever need If I was your Mother, mother If I was your mother Mother, mother Mother, mother If I was your mother Mother, mother

This is easily one of my fave songs from these guys. Up there with ACCOUSTIC Livin' On A Prayer with Richie on background vocals and My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms.

Para los que decían que Jon & Richie no podían rockear! En tu cara! Gran álbum KTF, tapado por el grunge, pero con muchas buenas canciones

Nicolas Irazoqui it's going to sound crazy this that I'm going to say some melodies in the solo reminds me Phil X; example lie to me, stick your guns solo, undivided, everyday, the story of my life, ,some records 1984-2005 I feel that I'm listening phil x like he were before

One of the most underrated Bon Jovi songs :( What a song. I'm 15 and none of my mates like Bon Jovi. They're missing out big time Dam this was the Bon Jovi a lot of us wanted and would like back..

This is the Bon Jovi I fell in love with... I like everything they do, but this, this I love. This exemplifies the fact that they can do anything, metal, rock, country, pop, covers, what a great band!. When I forget why I love them (believe me, it happens sometimes), I always come to this and I understand again I will never stop loving them. LLBJ
