Thx for the video. Does the universal rudder mount pin fit in the ss 107 hole, or do you need the metal plate?

It fits in the hole without any plate. That's how the rudder is attached in this video. I believe the newer rudders will work as well they should be the same size.

Do you have to register like a trolly motor ?

Yes, in the state of VA you have to register it for use on public waters. Most states are the same.

The Bixpy Jet and battery together come out to 1100 and you'll need to purchase a mount as well. The mounts start at 140 and go up from there.

Wow I been saving to get a Hobie but this rig you got has my interest big time . My only concerns is how easy or difficult it is to paddle it once I get to the spots , & how loud the motor is at lowest speeds , should I want fish docks useing just the motor . Congats on your sweet rig bro !

Thanks, I appreciate it. I was wondering how the paddling would be before I bought it as well, but it is super easy and it glides through the water. It's faster in the water than my previous FeelFree Lure 11.5. I usually cut the motor off the closer I get to docks since it is has a relatively high pitch sound but it's not too awfully bad. It's a level I'm willing to accept. I highly recommend it and I am able to use it all day on a full charge. I'm looking forward to trying it with the new flex wings I added to the kayak.

Thanks Mr. Pingiley Hearing its a faster paddler than a a boat 1 & a half foot longer sounds terrific , & just moved it plus the Bixby system , to the top af the board . Now if I can just hold out & get iCAST 2019 over with ! lol

Awesome man! The unit runs right at $1000 and then you have to buy whichever mount you need. Really, I love the compact size and weight of it. I don't have to lug around a heavy battery and motor. This is the perfect grab and go setup!
