I always liked episodes where Candy played a prominent part. He really added a lot to the show, and I think he made up for the departure of Adam's character. But Dan Blocker was just irreplaceable, and the loss of Hoss meant slow death for the show. Interesting episode. Thanks for posting.

*SOUND PROBLEM REMEDY* *I figured out a while back that when they upload videos with messed up sound or no sound like alot of the ones this person uploaded that if you use headphones or a separate speaker such as plugin speaker or bluetooth speaker that you'll be able to hear it fine. I don't know how or why it works, but that's actually how I'm watching it right now with headphones on.*

I thought Candy said he counted 11 bandits at the camp. The dynamite apparently blew up only four (Angel and the three with him).So what about the rest of the gang?

With bandits in those days, there was one or at most two brain guys, the rest were dumb as dead wood and totally non-functional with the boss.

The woman was beautiful however a future on the Ponderosa would be more family and abundant opportunities. Especially with Ben, Hoss, and Joe as sidekicks.

The plot has a flaw. It should have made Cpt. Harris come up with the idea of the dynamite, at least that way he would have had some part in the success of the good guys and thus earn the respect of his wife. But the way the story goes, Candy did everything, and the captain was portrayed as a total bungler.

I don't know how or why it is, but that's what I accidentally stumbled upon while watching in my car using bluetooth then getting out and trying to finish watching while walking back into work after lunch. Afterwards I tried separate speaker and headphones finding they work too.
