the Bonanza episodes from the first 9 seasons were standard western style ones with Gunfights, Outlaws, Indians, and a lot of shootouts but from seasons 10 to the last season the storylines had more to do with family drama, issues that weren't the usual gunfights and such and was more about immigrants homesteading in the west, people struggling with numerous issues.

Interesting how many of these older episodes I missed the whole storyline? One storyline is obvious cultures with a heavy tilt in religious superstitions don't mix with any contemporary cultures on any levels.

This ep is awful, imho. S13 wasn't great for me. Middle seasons are the best.
