Yeah Adam was my favorite one even though I loved them all but when Adam left the show Bonanza was never the same and it got more painful to watch as the years dragged on. The show should have ended when Adam left because they made so many episodes anyways. It took it's tull on the cast shooting out so many episodes.

I love it when Adam is the main lead in the series episodes. He is the one great, very best made up character the cast ever did...the rest are all very poor at best...others are messed up. If only the show would have made Bonanza a bit more mature, very small changes that, near unnoticeable, would have kept Adam in the series. Damn, he was good...and an excellent western star...the most wise and mature western actor.
