I grew up watching Bonanza reruns. Now that I'm over 50, it's easy to forget what a great show it truly was. I watched this episode tonight -- the first Bonanza I've seen in at least 25 years -- and it served as a good reminder.

Watching these classic episodes brings back many found memories. I lived with my grandparents, andy grandma loved Bonanza. It came on a local station every weekday at 4 pm . We never missed an episode. That would have been mid to late 1970's. I now am a grandpa and I am shearing these quality times from the Cartwrights with my grandsons. Thanks for the upload

That's a very clever way to deal with a villain. Imagine being that vain. Little Joe and Hoss were my favorite characters, so any episode with them is like gold to me. Of course, I prefer them together. One of my favorite episodes was the pancake eating contest. I laughed so hard at Joe trying to keep Hoss from eating, before the contest. This episode cast Perry Lopez, Alex Montoya and Rafael Lopez. Lopez and Montoya were hired often by Hollywood productions. Perhaps not well known supporting actors, along with Rafael Lopez (not related to Perry), but made Hollywood history as pioneering Hispanic (Latinx) actors. Perry was a good friend of James Dean, by the way. As a boy I used get confused over Brian Donlevy and John Archer, they looked alike. Anyway, interesting episode.

It's a fact that eye witness testimony is some of the most fallible evidence that there is... unfortunately, that's about all they had back then.

Truly, heart breaks for the moments and sometimes MUCH-MUCH LONGER. But Vengeance belongs to God indeed, and HE KNOWS How to avenge indeed!!! HE is doing one and much more for Me now even after several years of the abuses and deceptions taking place. Hallelujah. Wicked and deceptive people --- take note!!! HELL is Real, and many a time HE begins from here to torment (pay back) the wicked!!!

Yes. And what is a lawyer doing present evidence in final argument. But maybe back then the rules were different, if not the prosecution should have been objecting.

Isn't that Perry Lopez? I'll be darned, had no idea he went back this far. First time I saw him was in "Chinatown" playing Lt. Lou Escobar.
