I love Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Rifleman. But keep in mind we're just getting old and have good memories, of our young lives. It's just our past... Love reliving it... Lost my Brother in April of 20/20, so I know in real life how Hoss feels about Adam, and risking his heart and soul for his Brother. I've lost my Father and it was bad, because we work together on our Farm and one day he had an accident and died. Then lost my Mother 3 years later, and we worked together on our Farm. There were 7 of us, 5 Boys and 2 Girls. The most loving Family that God has ever put on this earth of His. Then we lost our oldest Brother, Danny! 2012. We all loved him so very much, Please lord take care of him. Then I taught My Brother Lloyd how to Farm, because we lost all of our work in 2008, because of the recession! We built houses for a living, and I kept on Farming. Then years past and we Lost ou Brother Lloyd! We had gotten older and Closer knit Family. Well! When I Lost my Brother Lloyd it was like the world come to an end, because I live right next to him, and we worked together everyday and he did everything in the world for me. Love your Family While you can! Because one day you won't have them. Please tell them you love them. It is really hard working here on the Farm since Lloyd is gone. But Hoss give me knew hope when he said! God gave him the strength to continue on. Thank you HOSS! RIP BROTHER'S...🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

@absue2 жыл бұрын
Yet it's not completely in opposition. When concern for human life becomes part of business, everyone profits: the mine could be worked more completely, getting out more ore. There wouldn't be cave-ins that stopped the work, meaning more work could be done which means more money paid to the workers and more profit to the employers. The mine could be made bigger and wider than before, again, more ore and more work and more profit. The people supplying the timbers would do better, too. It's not opposition: it's combination.

Of course. The biggest thing was preventing down time due to cave-ins. I am farmer (which is far from being a miner), but one thing I can tell you is this: There is NOTHING worse for business than down time (due to breakdowns of equipment, people getting hurt or sick, damage caused by weather, etc.). When down time occurs, NO work gets done and your business comes to standstill, and consequently you make no money-in fact, you LOSE LOTS of money. I just cannot understand while all those mining company executives in this episode could not understand that.

It's an example of Hollywood playing about with historical fact as usual. The "Dutchman" was Philipp Deidesheimer - that's "Dei-" said like the English word "dye" - from Hesse in what is now Germany, and he did invent the honeycomb system which was readily adopted by mining companies as far as I know. I hate the fact that they half changed his name the way they did. It seems so disrespectful to someone who made mines safer.

She left him to face his crimes and she went away. Hoss didn’t know that she had only two months to live. She told Hoss that when she came back a year later she wanted to go to that special place that he had told her about. He said that he would take her there and they could get married. She just loved 🥰 him so much she couldn’t bear 🐻 to tell him that in two months she would be dead. It was one of the saddest movies 🍿 that I’ve ever seen. Imitation of Life and Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck were two others although I think Roman Holliday takes first prize as the saddest. 😢😢
