This was my grandfather's plane, and I was very excited to see it come to MSFS. I have very fond memories of Sunday morning flights with him. On a few occasions, he put the yoke in my lap and instructed me as we flew: "put the nose down a bit", "level the wings" etc. I later found out that my younger sister, who was in the back, was not too thrilled with the impromptu lessons! Haha He developed Alzheimer's in his eighties, and when he went to live in a memory care home, I got him models of his Bonanza and the C47 he flew during WWII (The Hump) for his room. They are now proudly displayed in my own home.

It's strange some people having FPS pronlems after su 11. Personally I have great FPS after SU11. I can easily get 45 to 50 FPS with the C414 with a lot of setting in ultra and some at high. I use a Ryzen 7 5700x with a GTX1080 and still on my first MSFS2020 install on Windows 11 wich I upgraded from windows 10 without reinstalling. I do a clean install of the Nvidia drivers via NVcleaninstall and only change the power settings to Max power via the Nvidia control panel. Al running smooth with only some very very minimal microstutter so now and then.

This is my experience as well. I thought it was odd that Microsoft reset all of my graphics settings to Ultra, after the upgrade, but I have better frame rates with my 2080ti than I've ever had.I did turn the grass settings to High though, because who needs Ultra grass?

If you have the Working Title 530/430 GPS installed from the Marketplace it will break the altitude and vertical speed selector. I've spent the past two days trying to figure out what I was doing wrong and stumbled across a post on a forum describing my exact issues and after uninstalling the new version of the GPS, it works like it's supposed to.

I love this plane great quality for the price. She’s bit twitchy on TO but she lovely to fly. Never flown one real life so can only say from Sim use. Nice livery updates too from various sites

Love your videos! Been watching them for quite a while. Here’s the big question regarding this aircraft though: How does it compare with the A2A version in p3d and fsx? Do you have experience with those? Anxious for them to start releasing their aircraft for MSFS as a lot of people are. They are the true leaders in GA aircraft for flight sim in my opinion.

I love the V tail George Costanza! Great performing aircraft not for the faint hearted dainty mediocre Drs. w too much money who think they're WWII fighter pilots once a month, ain't called the Dr. Killer for no reason.

I really like the plane (and the price) but there’s just something about it that makes me think I’d never buy a premium aircraft from Carenado. There are some very minor VR issues, floating wind rivets and window decals.

Overkill, wondering if you have tried to do an ILS approach with this model? It doesn’t seem to capture glide slope unless I am missing something.

Is it faster with the update? I was only cruising at about 140 knots (tas) before. Should be closer 170.

thing is impossible to hand fly as evident by 7:28. Its so twitchy and sadly most msfs aircraft are like this

is it just me, or does this birds range seem to be extremely short.. and that's with the proper power settings.

IRL the range for the V35 is around 700nm. In the sim, it says 490nm. But I dont pay too much attention to that "range circle" that MSFS uses. I've flown 650nm, 2000 RPM, and about 21% on mixture at 12500 ft.
