thank you for taking a stance on the ridiculous claims around MSG. the only real downside of MSG is that if you use it too much, you won't be enjoying food without it as much as you did before. you could see it as some kind of tolerance, like a lot of drugs build up too. but then, this also goes for salt. and it's not a permanent effect, it wears off when you stop using as much.
