I can't get my row counter to go on my bond, so I just click it manually but it would have been nice if I could have got it on. Cheers!

You can't put a counter on the fashion knitter, on the Classic, Classic +, Home Knitter, USM and ISM it snaps under the back of the bed in the middle.

@@daviemac9925 I have a row counter that came with my bond, but I've not been able to get it to snap onto the bed, I've even watched a video I found that was done by a fella called joey Cole (the sweater factory) and its not bad instruction, but I think the counter I have must be for another machine.

@@howlingwind1937 I wonder if the one you've got is meant for the Elite?
@howlingwind19372 жыл бұрын
@@daviemac9925 maybe? Where it's suppose to clip onto the bed, into those nubs, the grooves or whatever they're called, on the row counter are v shaped as apposed to square shaped so there's no way it's going to attach. I have thought of using a file on it to make it the right shape but not sure if that's a good idea or not. I don't have an elite and haven't actually physically seen one so I couldn't say. Cheers!

Thanks for the lesson, I also just bought the same car .. the question is, why do the needles jump like that, swing in different directions? maybe something needs to be laid under the needles? like a clamping bar? and also, how do you set the rpd counter? Please make a videoц
@daviemac99252 жыл бұрын
The machine comes with an intarsia plate, the needles permanently operate in forward working position.

I just purchased one of these myself, and I noticed there is a sticker covering where you feed the yarn. Would it be problematic to remove that? It seems like it's covering where the yarn should be fed and I'm not sure why it's there.

You can go ahead and remove it, but you'll need "ordinary" key plates as the Intarsia plates don't work very with yarn fed from the eye of the carriage, it'll just drop all the stitches.
