For those who are wondering, it's very common for people to become combative after a seizure, and to act irrational and hostile. That's why the paramedics physically restrained her and forced her into the ambulance against her will.
@shadowfigure37495 жыл бұрын
As a seizure patient I would not say it's "very common" but it does happen.
@usmcwife135 жыл бұрын
Omfg YES, that's what I've been saying!!! I think because people always do that because they don't really know exactly what to do or to do first cause there's 20 different things different people tell you to do to react, and people don't get what they don't know as dumb as that sounded lol. It's like no one no matter the country should be allowed to disregard safety, others, or their own. That's why even if you hate yourself , others don't, so for whoever is reading this that maybe didn't know it's a electrical disturbance, that's why it's not normal, it's misfiring somewhere up there, so because of that no matter the age, race, animal, or human, adult, boy, girl, anything doesn't matter it's all the same, it's a misfire and that's why you lose control of knowing what to do, and mostly your actions as well, your brain immediately shuts down, your unconscious, and that's why people, animals, everyone who suffers from one to another will be in a comatose state and that's why 100% of the time when they first wake up no matter how long the seizure was for, you hear people saying no no no lay down your ok just stay here no don't get up etc etc. That's why people who have those sleep for a couple days if not longer after one, even if you don't get hurt in the process, so you're completely unconscious, and in case you didn't know that also means you can't hear either, that's why people don't try and talk to someone who's actively seizing until they start reading for stuff that isn't there, it's completely heartbreaking to watch, AND completely involuntary on their part, INCLUDING what they say or do, or feel afterward. I'm so glad you brought that up though!!
@TrueRahf5 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind that having a seizure can also be a tremendously embarrassing experience for the patient. When they come to there are often people around, with concerned looks on their faces. Add that on top of the general confusion, mental fatigue, and helplessness over your situation; you've got one upset person.

Right?! That’s all I could think too, what a lovely guy! And what a stunning dog - those eyes 😍 such a sweet soul. I was bitten on the neck by my friends rescue boxer/shepherd mix and did the same thing. I was laying in the hospital and they were asking me about the dog, and I was emphatically telling them it was a complete accident and 100% my fault - I would have gotten up and walked out if there was even a chance something would have happened to him. Later the doctor who stitched up my neck said you could tell it was an accident by the way it was a puncture versus a tear. If this dog wanted to it could have definitely done damage but it didn’t.

@nycot1075 жыл бұрын
@@BEEBEE159 That depends. Seizures CAN be unpredictable, but most of the time they are caused by certain triggers, such as not taking medication, stress, fatigue, dehydration, bright lights, etc. It can also depend on the type of epilepsy. They need to take people to hospital after a seizure if they don't know what caused it, because if it's something unusual, that could be dangerous to the patient.

@@nycot107 Do you have to get checked out every time it happens or does it just pass, and then you are normal again? Forgive me if I'm asking dumb questions; I'm just trying to understand how you feel about it, as an epileptic yourself. People really should know a few basic signs so that they can communicate with deaf people. So many different people are down there and you need to be able to communicate and learn what is wrong. All it takes is a quick 5 min video on basic sings it's so simple but it is so important. I think lifeguards should definitely be taught basic signs because there have been lots of times which they encounter deaf people needing help.

17:28 That paramedic has been traumatized! Poor guy- u know it's serious, when even the paramedic's face turns into an emoji 😳 I feel terrible for the bite victim, & u can see how bad it must be, by all the men's reactions... shocked faces, hugging pillows, etc.... I'm amazed that man was able to walk there for help!!!

I'm sure she is use to her condition by now and wanted to just be left alone and not felt ashamed by everyone. I understand the responsibility of the lifeguards and paramedics, difficult situation to be in

The deaf woman looks like she has maybe also a form of autism. My autistic son react similar in this kind of situations. I would be grateful as well when the lifeguards made sure he is safe. Thank you bondi lifeguard bless you all🕊🙌🏻greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 🧡🌷

How are the lifeguards in the tower so relaxed while communicating that someone is drowning? I want to train to become a lifeguard in the UK. Have you got any tips on training? You are so inspirational! :)
