Dude, the question the Chinese dad asked about if the body would float or sink… I had a similar experience to this. I worked as a park ranger in Texas at big bend and we had a little boy go missing after they walked off from one of our tent sites. After about an hour of searching the dad asked me how long it would take birds to start circling over a dead body. It nearly broke me. You could see in his eyes that he was already fearing the worst. We found the kid after he was lost for about an hour and a half, but you could tell it changed the parents lives

I so know that mothers feeling when my 18 year old decided to go to a friends house walking in -8 degrees. He was missing for 16 hours. We called the police and did a report. His friends went looking for him. I walked into my house and he walked around the corner and I collapsed and couldn't control my crying. He felt horrible and cried too. That relief you feel when they are home.

These guys just doing their jobs. They don't get paid for the show. Think this show contributes to the budget for lifeguards. These guys won't play up to camera's. Im british and Aussies are so similar with their humour and attitude. Love the Aussies!. They don't get offended by everything anyone says all the time!. These guys have such a serious job but have the ability to make a bad situation seem better because of that Aussie way of thinking!. Respect to all you lifeguards❤

There actually is one American show on youtube with real guys, real situations, real compassion like the Bondi lifeguards. I think it's called Alaskan Coast Guard or maybe Alaskan Rescue. No fake dramatics, just regular men +women doing super scary heroic rescues without batting an eye. (Wondering if produced by Canadians, if American, you'd see a lot of sensationalized scripted drama or t + a).

I think the mother was not overreacting at all. As a parent, I know how scary it can be to lose sight of your child even just for a minute. All of the possibilities start rushing through your mind and you become so so frantic and through the stress of not having visuall reassurance as to the whereabouts of your child AND being in a foreign country AND (stereotype) Maybe not knowing how to swim properly AND communication is difficult... I would definitely be going into shock if I was her.

When I’m older I want to be a stage actor and either work at a zoo or work as a life guard. The reason for this is I feel my happiest when I’m helping people even if I don’t get a nice reaction I feel like helping people is a key factor to life. I would love to go to Bondi it’s just so busy, not only the beach is busy we went near new year and there wasn’t parking with in a 5km distance so we decided to go to other beaches. Keep up the great work and remember that even if there are dark times you and your crew are inspirational and helpful. You basically give up your time to help people if that’s not what a hero is what is. #hero.

I see seizures like that all the time. Vasovagal seizures happen when someone faints very quickly, basically just short circuits the brain. They only last a couple of seconds to a minute and aren't related to epilepsy or other seizure disorders, but some people are more prone than others. I'm a phlebotomist so I make people pass out on a pretty regular basis and vast majority of patients who faint will have a vasovagal. In nearly 10 years of work, I have only ever had 1 patient who fainted without having the seizure. People will come out of them very rapidly, I once had one woman say "I'm really surprised I didn't pass out" and I was like 👀 you did....? It happened so rapidly for her she didn't even know it had happened. I've had a few people jump up and try to run from being disorientated, some people come out slowly, but most people just startle awake and go "what? That was weird." It was a hot day, his friend was injured and he was standing up. Its a good combo for someone to have a vasovagal.

@@alyssavermette9585 that's for over use though. That's why it's illegal but I'm pretty sure that in Australia, you can only get it for medical needs or on the black market. It's has lots of restrictions on how much you can use, much like localized anesthesia since overuse of that can cause heart problems.

Given the one child policy in China, the one child is literally everything to the chinese couple... imagine all the time and money invested in the child's future being taken away all at once.

They took that away a few years ago. But had it still been in place and they lost their son, they would have been allowed to have another.

That dislocated hip guy's friend looked like he had a vasovagal syncope. It's a response to certain triggers or fear. There are people (mostly men) who respond this way when seeing a needle, or blood. Their heart rate slows, their blood pressures drop, they become nauseous and overall don't feel well and faint. Or..... he could have taken some kind of substance and reacted to it. lol

Fear paralysis reflex is very similar to this can be triggered by strong emotions although the person will typically actually stop breathing for seconds to a few minutes before the heart kicks in again. My youngest child does this with sudden falls he gasps for air 2/3 seconds body goes ridget a spilt second then full floppy. he will be out for 3-4 minute's comes back quickly or can be very disoriented for hrs after but never remembers going out just this his head felt "heavy" right before.

Tonic Seizure Often a person's eyes may roll back into their head, and as the chest muscles tighten and contract, it may become more difficult to breathe. These seizures are short in duration, and usually last less than 20 seconds.

It's so funny to me to see the reactions of people on the analgesic gas! I don't think I would react like that. I've had so many procedures and surgeries and tubes in me due to health issues and ended my 3 years of being sick with a lovely dependency on narcotics because it was before anyone was talking about the opioid epidemic, I was a young girl in my early 20s with no friends who did even recreational drugs let alone abused prescription drugs, I was in a ton of pain with countless serious infections that landed me in hospital in between my surgeries, and my doctor way over-prescribed painkillers and I kept taking them because I was in pain, and I thought my doctor wouldnt give me anything I couldn't handle. So by the end of 3 years, I was on 15 4mg dilaudid per day but was really taking 20 of those. They had to give me really strong anesthetic. It was such a bitch to get off of the painkillers that halfway through I caved and went on methadone. Since then I had an attempted procedure done with laughing gas and they had to stop it because I felt everything. I haven't touched a painkiller in almost a decade and morphine and other painkillers don't get me high when I've had to have it during emergencies. These reactions are priceless! I wish mine were that fun haha. Also, when I was in pain and passing kidney stones, you could always tell how bad it was by how quiet I got. There would be a certain level of pain where I would be wailing in pain and then there would be a certain level where I would be just go somewhere deep within myself and quiet right down. That was the scary pain.
