When I was 14yo I had a pet rat for 2yrs. He died from a brain tumor. I'm Canadian and I actually got the rat from a little Australian girl who was traveling across North America. Her parents bought her the rat at the beginning of their travels and when they were heading back home they gave Pip the Rat to me. He was amazing. Never bit ANYONE, he cuddled me around my neck at bed time... They make great furry friends ❤❤

I am so amazed at the variety of surgeries that Dr. Andrew performs ( successfully). Usually MD surgeons are very specialized. Also, someone is doing some great camera work with the close ups of the animals faces!!.

That little boy with the poor dog, Buzz, needs to be taught respect for animals!!! Why do parents let their kids treat pets so terrible?! You don’t let dogs eat cooked rib bones either!!! I get so upset when I see dogs not being taken care of properly!! If you’re going to get a dog educate yourself about how to take care of them, what they can & cannot eat!!!

The fact the woman said that Buzz was not clever…….excuse me. You let that kid ride the dog, you let him draw on the dog and you fed the dog cooked bones. You admitted the dog had bones stuck in his mouth before and yet you give the dog more. Very disappointed that the vet did not advise that owner to supervise and teach that kid how to treat a pet…..well after the woman learns herself. These are the type of people who often complain after their children are bitten that there was no warnings and no reason. This makes me sick that animals have to put up with these ignorant idiot owners.

@@christinekillen3852 Na.. sadly this vet doesn't worry that much about animals.. he mostly gives the good show that most viewers want. And bitching into the camera is great. And when the dog is brought in to put him down because he finally bit the kid will also make a good episode.

That koala is honestly just too cute and those little noises, I honestly didn't know they could make that sound. The nurses all crowding around to coo over the little one is not surprising at all, a well mannered little fluff ball that used to being handled. he looks like a little stuffed animal!

Your Africa trip was something very special Chris thanks for taking us along. This is about the 3rd time I have watched this episode. The woman with the 2 dogs on her roof thought that was funny, but as Chris said one slip and those dogs were 'gonnas', especially with that strap dangling near their feet.. not funny at all and could also have caused an accident with the people standing around.. people need to give more thought to these things. The poor retriever with the Texta all over his face and the boy riding him.. don't parents teach their kids anything these days.. its called RESPECT Mum.. for your dog!!! Shame on you for letting your child treat his pet this way. To ?John for rescuing the boxer from the traffic you are a hero sir well done you and to Andrew.. I love you to bits!!! You are a top surgeon and you care (even if you do stir Lisa about her dog)...so many other things to comment on just love this show. cheers from this 71 yr old from WA

Greyhound racing is such a horrific 'sport'. I'm glad Betty was able to make a full recovery and get the proper home she deserves, where she will be cared for and loved, and where she can race for her own pleasure in a safe environment, not around a track for profit and entertainment. She's such a beautiful pup. It honestly amazes and scares me how few people know how dangerous lilies are to cats. Just a little lick and the cat could be dead. Lilies need to come with warnings.

2 days ago my husband called our cat in from the porch. As she stepped up onto the threshold, she suddenly cried out and backed up. He checked her front paw, but noticed that it was it was her back leg that flopped over. We went to an ER and X-RAY shoewd a displaced fracture of her femur. The surgeon informed us that even if the surgical repair was a success, at 17 years old recovery was unlikely. Also the X-RAY had shown 3 masses in her lung. So we bought Tara a pass over the rainbow bridge.

My Tom Chocolate-Point Siamese ate a very thin ribbon measuring about 10" long. His name was Tintin, and since I was a Siamese breeder, I had to rule out any sicknesses. Therefore, an autopsy was completed to determine why he was eating and vomiting straight away. It was the ribbon 🎀 😪 😔. I have missed him every day 😢 😪 for the last 5 years now . From Canada 🇨🇦 🐈❤️🐈

This is givinh me flashbacks. We have a cat who got into the garbage, fished out a Churu pack, and ate part of it. Cost us $350 at the emergency vet for them to give her meds to puke it up. Two inch piece of mylar came out of her. We dont have Churus in the house.

I wish we had vets like this here in New York my cat’s caught fleas and have been trying so hard to get rid of them spending mad money on stuff that’s not working can’t give em a bath cuz are hot water is shut off rn and one of my cats was eating himself so bad he got and abcess that busted open and I took him into a emergency vet they wouldn’t help him they wanted 19,000 1st then in the city they wouldn’t take him and sent me to another place that wanted a lot of money it’s terrible here

Off topic, but do dogs get uncanny valley syndrome? I'm a product videographer on one of the big social media platforms, and one of the sellers that reached out to me sells reborn baby dolls, the newborn dolls that are made to look as lifelike as possible. As a joke, after I finished recording it, I laid it in bed to mess with my husband when he got home from work. However, I noticed the dog wouldn't get on the bed with it there, also, the same bed my dog swares is his (not mine). Out of curiosity, I put the doll back in the bed again today, and again my dog said, "nope," and is sleeping in an entirely different room right now. What gives? Uncanny Valley? 🤔
