It's really hart to watch this without headphones one. My wife is in the next room and all she hears is the grunts and the, "It's really in there" and "It's really hard" followed by more grunts.

Of all the magnet fishing folks on youtube, you're the most likable and friendly one. I root for you to get more things than just mud and bikes. It is beautiful where you filmed and fished today. #Ohio #USA

that's the trouble with magnet fishing...…………… it leaves all the interesting and valuable stuff behind, for example: bronze; silver; and GOLD FFS. what a waste of time

Mate, put a carabiner on a belt loop (of your pants) and run the rope through it. It saves you alot of ducking to grab the rope after you've thrown your magnet. I used to fish without a carabiner, and my back was killing me after a full day. Now I do the carabiner thing, and simply won't go fishing without it. It saves you so much hassle. They're like 3-4 euro's at Action, doesnt have to be strong since it wont carry any weight, just saves your lower back.

You found Captain Nemo's bicycle. It's been there for decades, my man. That lift-bridge is good too. Good reasons to go to different cities: old river gates into the city, old places that were harbours, warehouses, streets that were canals but aren't now. All good. Love the maps

Not too surprising that you don't find much in a sea harbour: Working ports are regularly dredged to ensure that there is enough depth for boats to pass with water under their keels even at low tide. So you might find some stuff right at the edges where the dredging buckets can't reach, but out in the middle of the harbour away from the walls or pontoons, it's unlikely that you would find anything large or old, since the dredgers would grab everything.

What a beautiful adventure. That water is crystal. Great finds too 🤙

Tip, carry a plastic scraper like an ice scraper, or defrosting scraper,,and a piece of sack cloth, makes getting all of the tiny extraneous debris from the magnet so very much easier , , therefore increasing it's potential!
