Those weird little bracelets like what you found at the start (all the little rectangles with the writing on them) were a HUGE trend where I live in the early 2000s. I’m not sure if it was the same thing where you are or if it’s as old, but it’s definitely the same type of bracelet! My mom, sister, and I all had one with our own little personalized charms on it and it was so fun!

2:25 the "arrow" thing is a plumb level. its hung from a string or chain and is used to show the vertical center line.
@gerrittklashorst73064 жыл бұрын
It's called a plumb bob. A plum level is a square with a plum bob hanging from the apex of the square to figure out the pitch angle between a roof and the stud wall below it. As a kid I saw them used on the construction sites when they were stick framing new construction. a plum bob is not used to show a centerline they are used to show if things are plum or vertically aligned to the string of the plum bob.

What a pain. So the Red Light District is busy all day and all night? Watching your videos in Amsterdam makes me want to go and visit there. I love history and it’s absolutely filled with history!! That first bracelet was a charm bracelet that was big in the late 1980’s to1990’s. You’d buy the basic bracelet and then replace individual links with different charms to denote vacations, kids, major wedding anniversaries, hobbies, etc. I’m one of the shots it appeared that some of the links had bases for missing charms.

Yeah dangerous tines in the eighties in Amsterdam especially the Zeedick? area. That to me was what made Amsterdam exciting. (Apologies if I spelt the area wrong). Still it's very nice now. Some very nice old bars there. ❤
@kevinbarksdale78972 жыл бұрын
It's a bit late to point this out, but maybe it will come in handy with future trips to Amsterdam. When you caught the bag, but it fell off your first try pulling it up. You could have "hooked" it again, then pulled it over a few feet to your right and used the ladder to step down and grab it rather than trying to reacj down from the spot you did. Might have saved some of the contents from falling out.
