A nice adventure in my home town. As they said, a few years ago the whole city centre has been dug out and cleaned up, so all that you found are mostly fresh drops. Glad to hear that you liked Leiden.

In the Netherlands there's an app where he can let them know where he has put all the rubbish. I guess the bikes go along with the trash, unless someone steals them before it gets picked up. 😂

The Pilgrims were in Leiden too, before they came over to North America.
The way you have maintained a child-like glee is very inspiring. I remember being about 9, up to my knees in the ditch, playing with the “mini-lobsters” and being so happy about it all. You’ve held on to and now recalled that feeling for me, and for that, I thank you.

I greatly enjoy your magnet fishing videos. I bought my great nephew a beginner's magnet and a metal detector largely from watching your videos. It turns out that he totally loves magnet fishing and metal detecting and today we're going metal detecting soon. I want to get him started with his own channel. He's just seven so I think it's a perfect time to get him used to the camera. I sincerely thank you for all the inspiration and giving him a positive hobby and for great videos. Actually the exact place where Rembrandt was born is the house on the background between 9:05 en 9:15 (not the original house.....). If you've looked you'd see the plaque on the house. One of the houses on the background where you were fishing at the Rembrandtbrug was his studio...

I fully agree! Bondi Treasure Hunter has gotten my great nephew and me into a great and positive hobby. I teach that we always leave it cleaner than when we got there. It's a fair price to pay for the wonderful experience and being out in nature.

3:25 yeah, I was thinking it was cleaned when you mentioned how old the city was. If it weren't, that channel would be so full organic and inorganic buildup, boats would struggle to navigate it at this point.

I'd love for Bondi to come to Tilburg some day. But sadly in terms of waterways it's super boring with the exception of Piushaven and the kanaal going through the city but he might appreciate the city as it was the center of the Dutch Textile industry.
