Let this be a lesson to those involved here and anyone else thinking of taking on such an adventure. If you find coins stamps or anything else sealed in protective casings leave them in the casings! And be careful when you take them to get valued. There are a lot of shifty dealers out there who will try to give a deceitfully low valuation on such items, then they turn round and sell them for a mint!!!!

The coins are reissued in 1982 the coins were first in circulation 16 century. The authority issuing coinage always keep record of the original issue coinage, a impression of the die used to produce the coin, name of the maker. Rare coins are likely to be found at the estate of a wealthy individual I doubt these coins are as rare you think.

You should always have a bucket of clean water so that you can clean the items and can tell what they are right away. Also, coins that are in plastic casing like in this video could potentially be valuable antique coins. Therefor you should always handle them with much more care and clean them carefully. Any damage or scratches can decrease their value considerably, especially coins that have value as historical items or as collectible coins. It was really painful to see how carelessly those coins were treated. It is important that you learn more about treating them properly.

Next time you want to pull out a safe, with a vehicle, use reverse. it is a little-used gear, and is stronger than drive.

Totally cool find there. How does someone lose a safe in a canal? Why does someone paint their safe bright orange? To find it under water. Some advice - never crack open a coin from its case. NEVER! Mint condition is hard to come by and can be a difference of hundreds of dollars maybe a thousands which can be lost by a single scratch from a muddy finger.

THey were probably only worth face value to begin with. If they could snap them apart like that they weren't perfectly sealed meaning the cases were full of mud and junk already and if they were really worth something they would have had cases that were totally sealed from the elements and would have not snapped like that so crazy easy.

@@jolyonrussell7021 So, let say that a coin in mint condition is worth 100 euro's. And a damage one, is worth 10. Then you rather have 10 euro's because it is free.??? I think your stupid then. But that is my modest opinion.
