The picture of Chris & Lisa's dog... It was a beautiful gift, the artist did a fantastic job of displaying a Vet with Lisa's dog. It would be appropriate in the Reception Room, one Doctor holding the loving pet of another doctor. People made fun/jokes, but it was done with much love for the 2 doctors and the pet. I would place it in the hallway. Maybe telling a story 'This is Lisa's dog who was very ill. Dr. Chris took great care and with his expert knowledge, Lisa's dog is doing very well.'. Thank you, Artist. Dr Chris did not ask for this rendering, it was a surprise. In the hallway all could see it, some may want such an artistic display in their home, with their beloved pet. You should have thanks & pride.

That veterinary nurse, delaying her first home payment, is a special human! Many wouldn’t make such huge sacrifice to save this little horse. She’s got a huge heart & I hope life is treating her well! 💕

Wow! I am so glad you were able to help Koda. We have a dwarf miniature horse we rescued over 14 years ago. She is about 2 ft 4 inches tall. Her name is Mocha (her coat is black but turns dark brown in the sun). The vet thinks she is around 30 years old at this point. She is a sweetheart, with enough personality for a draft horse haha. Like Koda, she has normal horse sized teeth. We tried to have a specialist horse surgeon help her, one who has worked on miniature horses, but unfortunately the surgery failed because the major cranial and facial nerves are too wrapped around the teeth and removing them was too difficult. I have never heard of the procedure this surgeon did with splitting the mouth, but I am glad the surgeon was able to help Koda. Miniature dwarfs did nothing to be bred and born so irresponsibly and they deserve help. So with our girl, we mash her food up special and manually remove the food that packs in areas in her mouth, and I'm sure her teeth do cause her some pain. But she is a pretty happy horse. The procedure was too expensive for my family to try again unfortunately. But she has lived a long, happy life, and I hope we continue to have more years with her!

My heart goes out to Dr. Scott. I think he has been through a lot the last couple of years. He seems slightly more sober in the past couple of new videos. One of the best vets out there; so appreciative of all the good work he does.

Julia I couldn’t have said it better. Showing kindness to sick children is so rewarding and I know when I was 9 I was in a Children’s Hospital and being shown attention from an animal or such makes the day better. With Doug’s old owners I wish that they could be fined with animal cruelty. So happy for him having such loving, caring new and better owners now.😢 Wonderful job doctors!!🥰💗

God Bless the Doctors who keep Koda alive and thriving. And God Bless Koda's owner who clearly loves Koda so much and has made so many sacrifices. This video brought tears to my eyes. I think it might have been different if it had been him with his own pets or several other pets. But to have him with another vets pet seems like they are a couple. I also believe he was embarrassed. I think he appreciated the gift simply had no idea what to do with it. If he put it on the main wall there would be all sorts of questions. No matter what there would be questions. He’s a single man, they are not a couple.

Seeing all those kids in hospital is really sad... I think we take for granted that most kids are healthy and happy. But for some that just isn't the case. And good for them for helping out how they do! ❤️ That painting is amazing!!! He did a great job!

Well a final update to Koda's story, he passed back in 2019 sadly at 10 years old with the myriad of health issues he had it isn't terribly surprising(kinda impressive really) but it is still sad

Taking a dog to a rescue or shelter is free. These people were intentional in making him languish in a garage and it's so sad. I'm glad Doug has a nice home and lots of siblings to keep him company!

Koda is very cute, but has a potentially harmful dwarf condition. I have 3 mini horses myself, but they are proportionate--they don't have extra large heads or anything like that. Their teeth are the right size for them. They have been checked over by my vet very closely, from yearlings (when I bought them) on, and so far, so good. My mare is 14 years old, the gelding is 13, and my mare's filly is 17 months old. They get feet done regularly, every 4-6 weeks, teeth floated when needed, and shots twice a year. They are a very healthy group, and I have fun driving them with a 2 wheeled mini sulky (except for the filly, she isn't old enough yet). (Jan Griffiths).

So much heart put into the care of Koda and he puts his heart into his work with the children he seems to love to visit. He obviously had a reason to be in this world and the people caring for him realized that. Everyone and everything has a place and a reason to be if given a chance. What a great family to take in Doug and so many others. They seem to be so giving to elderly dogs and that so many people just give up on. Just a wonderful family.

giving the men and women who are incarcerated an animal to care for and who gives back is a wonderful thing to do. it seems to work so well for everyone. of course, we don’t know why this woman is here, but she certainly seems to deserve a chance to be doing something so rewarding. she’s right in there with her dog 🐕understanding and helping her. i think Jodi is a lovely woman and i wish her all the luck in the world in her life. raising and training helper dogs is a very important thing to do. beautiful doggie and beautiful puppies :) 🐶🐕🌱🌷

Thank you for the censorship of the surgeries. I love watching these videos and seeing these sweet babies get all fixed up and feeling peppy again, but surgeries squick me out when they're very, very hands on. I often times have to scroll down with barely anything showing in case. With the censoring, it's still a bit queasy but I can easily continue watching without having to see the gore of the work, and it means a lot. The work that's done is miraculous and amazing, for all the effort and love put into each patient.

I truly love KODA..such a loving horse in a small body. Poor Cameno. Again with neglected animals shows that there are horrible people who shouldn't own innocent pets as well as have innocent human babies. That's a great name for the.beautiful Golden Retreiver: DOUG.
