@THambrough Жыл бұрын
I agree with you on that point. Since when did not being a cannibal make you weak and lose your strength?? Lol but vampires definitely lose theirs if they don't feed.
@jackgardner2514 Жыл бұрын
@@THambrough I guess the book does a problematic tie in of First NAtions skin walker lore. I appreciate that the movie kind of side stepped that and kept it mysterious. Frankly in the real world conditions exist that we have a name for, and bological understanding of and we just don't know the origin of. So lack of Lore really grounds this
@PichDextro Жыл бұрын
@@THambrough Since vampires don't actually exist, it is completely dependant on the source material if a vampire is weakend by not feeding. Bram Stoker's Dracula didn't have to drink blood, he had to sleep in earth from his homeland to regain strength and become younger again. Feeding actually turned him more into a monster. Same with exposure to the sun. Marceline the vampire queen immediately starts burning in the sun, meanwhile the Twilight vampires are completely fine and simply start sparkling. If you come up with a vampire character you can give them whatever trait you want basically.

Felt that. I'm bi, myself. If anything, the killers in this movie aren't LGBT coded, but bigot coded, people that predate on those, they see as lesser than them. 7:08 it's among many clever jokes and puns that clearly had a bunch of work put into them that a stupid green screen explosion gag is what actually made me laugh out loud

It seems like she didn’t inherit James’s surname in the marriage so it’s probably Mrs.Rebecca

THE MO MO MO TOOK ME OUT. Excellent work on the state code editing and the humor is great!

Chelsea being so dry throughout the whole count then suddenly screaming "BY GOD, THAT MAN HAD A FAMILY!" at the top of her lungs was a treat.

I have to say I love it when Chelsea Rebecca hosts DeadMeat!! Her sense of humor is just like mine, kind of sarcastic but funny at the at the same time. I wish she would host more because I'm laughing my ass off right now! This is one of the best kill counts ever😂❤

I didn't notice the metaphor of being queer until it was pointed out to me. I think the reason it didnt track (for me personally) is that, being a cannibal causes actual harm to others, meanwhile, being gay has never and will never hurt someone
@carn9507 Жыл бұрын
Correct. This is why queer comparisons of this movie really annoy me. Queer folk got enough negativity to put up with let alone being compared to cannibals. Like this movie wants people to think all queer folk are Jeffrey Dahmer...
