Hey fellow Okie. I'm a member of The Wyandotte Tribe of NE Ok. and also Cherokee. I found a 10k yr. old Kansa Chert scraper along the banks of the Verdigris River, just before The Caney merges with it. It was just a top soil find as I was walking back to my truck after searching all day for artifacts. That was the only thing I found that day. Thank you for the video. Keep educating ppl.

Thank you so much for this video. Question: could the extensive butchering of the bison at this site reflect scarcity of other food resources? For example, if the area is in a drought cycle limiting migrating birds, reliance on bison might increase? You’ve certainly given me something to think about. 👍

Found a Hell gap a few years back while picking up litter along the Platte just outside of Denver. Tractor uncovered a strange tooth on the same sandbar which I identified as a peccary. What was The latest time frame for peccarys in Colorado?
