It seems to me that Iraq was the historic centre of the universe.

Maybe you don't need a catalogue in the library that holds the actual tablets, since you can just go and look at them; but in th eother library, you need a catalogue, so that you can order the correct tablets for an inter-library loan - as you cannot get them to send to whole book on one donkey!

An excellent video with a crucial question at its heart. It seems to me that your argument that historic seers would never put their reputation on the line is diminished by the fact that the system lasted so long ... why on Earth would any system of divination be so long-lasting if it never provided an accurate answer ?

I love it! An anthropology lesson about ghosts and what people did at the time to manipulate them.

Shamanism is partly defined as the ability to transform one thing into another. By this metric we might say comedians who create comedy out of tragedy are shamans. This may seem like ''small magic'' but I assure you it is powerful and has merit.🥰 "It is hard work, and great art, to make life, not so serious.'' -John Irving (The Hotel New Hampshire.)🤣

Jeeze. Imagine beinf a diviner i have good luck with divination. Imagine if u werent lucky at that. Ull be thrown innthe blazing bull for not being good at it. Sounds scary i dont use livers lol. But i do have great luck being right. I dont use any tools. Thats why i think it has to do with things like pattern recognition and personal exlerience and things i know from the past. Thats what i assume. Knowing the person also is huge or at least being a good judge of character... but still..ive beennright about things incould have never known. Ive scared people away with it. Cus i dont really have to try. So it happens when im not even trying to do that. Or ill get the sense that something is wrong. Someones needs me or someones been in a car accident...a house is on fire or trying to end their life. Inlive in fl so those things happen way too often

The commenter above me was talking about memory from our ancestors being in our DNA and RNA. And I learned about that as well. And inthink that also could have something tondo with it. Or maybe my ancestors worked as fortune tellers or were healers that made remedies which inalso can do but it took a lit of educating and research. So it would make sense that maybe I had family in history that enjoyed doing that. I didnt spend time learning things like divination. Thats just always been a gift of mine. But to be one of those to help with natural remedies u absolutely have to spend years learning about that. Or ull hurt someone or poison them. Amd thats something that can get u in trouble. Wonder how manynwomen have hurt someone and then their friend said the good old witch joke "didn't see that one coming did ya?" 😅

I LOVE THIS GUY. hes funny amd i dig what he's teaching. Never seen him till today. I've dealt with ghosts amd demons and those kinds of moments are always terrifying. So I started researching. And that was since I was young. I'm almost 40 now amd I learned new things watching this. Do u guys remember the merlin in the Disney animation from back in the day. On vhs. HES SO MUCH LIKE THAT MOVIE. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. it's what i wanted to grow up to be but i'm a girl....soooo. hahahaha wanted to be merlin amd i'm gonna be like that ugly frumpy mean witch lady that he fought with. Lol if I had gone to a lecture of his amd heard this inwould have started laughing band applauding at the end like a weirdo. Imagine him being ur professor and one of the students does that after class is done. That was just sonentertqining amd so educational. I sat here with an agate smile tho whole time. Half wowed and half entertained. This was wonderful. Never seen him before but I absolutely want to see more of what he's got

Family members were buried in the courtyard? Thats nuts. I didnt know that. Makes sense. Ive seen ghosts. I didnt recognise them. The only family member insaw that visited me it was my grandfathers. They came to my dreams. But even in my dreams, they were in spirit form. And I'd be the only one who could see them. And i remember telling my dad that insaw his father in my dream and he said it probably was just a dream and saidbi wouldnt be able to remember what he looks like cusbi was very little when he passed. And down the road, I'd find a photo, and it was him. Crazy

The First language & writings of mankind was 'Paleo Hebrew' which changed later-on at the tower of Babel then Yah (God) of the Bible & creator of all things came down to the earth with His Angels to confused the peoples language due to their Sin against Him; - they thought to kill Him & takeover from Him - somehow through the use of their tower of Babel ?. So Yah (God) came down from heaven to stop them by changing the one language of the people 'Paleo Hebrew' He gave to them - into 70 different language's according to the number of the Sons of Yah/God - the Angels appointed by Yah to rule over these 70 languages and their peoples in the world. The man called : 'Abram' - later to be renamed Abraham'; found favour in the eyes of Yah (God), so only Abram and his household was allow to keep Yah's (God's) ordinal language & writing of 'Paleo Hebrew' because Abram believed in Yah and pleased Him by walking with Yah in His righteous Way's,... this is the way of Yah's people; to believe in Him and walk in His right-ruling Way's, this is what His only begotten Son : Yahusha (Jesus) Messiah came down here to earth to teach us; and to pay the price for our sins by His death on the cross' and all those who believe in Him, repent of sin, and start to learn of Him and follow Him in His Fathers right-ruling Way's will be saved : See (John 3:16-21, Matthew 11 : 17-30, 1 John 5: 2-5, & Exodus 20:1-17). I pray this info is a blessing to you and all 💕🙏

@Shivey-Caroline-7-23, I know you believe what you posted, and you are certainly entitled to believe as you wish, as does everyone else. What is the source of your information? We only have a handful of original writings of the Bible and then only bits, pieces, and scraps of original text. The volumes we now have are copies of copies of copies. We know that there are deviations from some of the earliest known text, with most being minor clerical errors, but some are blatant changes that were made by some unknown scribe for unknown reasons. I invite you to read, "Misquoting Jesus" by Dr. Bart Ehrman, or to find one of his many lectures on this book that is on KZbin. What Dr. Irving is presenting is the actual text that has remained unaltered from the time of its creation. There are within this collection of clay tablets, laws and rules of government, along with records of business transactions. There are also recordings of myths and legends, but no one is asking us to believe them and then govern our own lives based on those fallacies. I am not trying to, nor do I expect to change your mind on what you believe. I am challenging your need to insist that everyone adopt your beliefs as true with such questionable evidence.

Sounds like a neat twist to throw on Pazuzu in a D&D campaign. His fall to Demon lord in prehistory being related directly to mortal perceptions corrupting him after a misrepresentation, making him a corrupter in turn instead of a guardian.
