Great topic. I use raw soup bones, raw turkey necks and bully sticks. Never had an issue with any of those.

My dog loves her bully sticks.

My 35 lb American bull pit did great with some rawhide braids for a long time, one stick lasts a couple days. The 50 lb cattahoula pit devours them in 15 minutes. I need safe chews.

@@efrawley55 Brilliant video. We manufacture proper premium bullysticks from South Asia and sell all over the US wholesale. If you have any requirements, I would love to help !

Our 120lb GSD bites the bully sticks into chunks, and swallows them, when then get puked up later on. What do you recommend for this kind of situation? He loves them, but we don't want him to have serious issues.
@efrawley557 күн бұрын
there are different size bully sticks. I tried the thin ones and decided not to sell them. My guess is thats what you have. But even still I would monitor them the dog that has them and not leave them unattended with the dog. if this continued to happen I would not recommend giving that dog bully stick. I may try an cows knuckle bone - uncooked - bnever feed cooked boanes - they splinter.

@@efrawley55Thank you. He got a knuckle from the butcher shop for Christmas and our Boxer got more of a marrow bone. We do have 2 turkey necks for them for new years as well.

What do you think about those dried cheese chews? I’ve been giving them to my Bernese mix

I would have to go out of retirement to afford bully sticks.

I agree they are not cheap. We dont let our GSD have them only our small dogs and even then we limit the time they have access. Those small ones are not a good idea - even the small dogs can chew them too quickly

No cocked chicken bones either

Yep - no cooked bones of any kind.

What about your Mali Do you not have him anymore? I forgot his name. Possibly his name was Rush.
@efrawley552 ай бұрын
Rush was one of the coolest dogs we have ever had the privilage of living with. He passed away over 4 years ago when he was 13 years old. Dogs dont live long enough. It breaks your heart when they leave us. Only people who have loved a dog can understand how hard it is to loose them.
@watchmoivies1232 ай бұрын
Oh yes, I know all about it. I had my heart dog die five years ago and he was 15. He was a Border Collie and let me tell you he was Top Notch. Good with all other dogs good with kids good with people did AKC obedience and got high titles to doc dive he did nose work. Let me tell you that Dog did it all. I miss him dearly, but I do have a new one that’s a lot of work and he’s totally cuckoo, but I guess God gave me the dog that either needed me or I needed him.

@@watchmoivies123 I agree with you on that one. We bear the weight of loving our dogs. Bottom line is life is filled with memories and dreams of what could be. I think of those that left me all the time. I keep their collars and leashes and shed a tear over them every now and then when I am alone.
