Paul, totally agree with you about remote controls. I think the remote control for my smart TV is the only remote control I’ve had in the last 20 to 30 years that doesn’t have a piece of duct tape on the back to keep the batteries in place. They’re always bouncing off and either disappearing or breaking. There needs to be a design improvement on these things. Or maybe they should be made with rechargeable batteries and you just put the remote control in some kind of a cradle that’s plugged in and recharges the rechargeable batteries periodically.

With my old 2004 Honda Accord coupe, and the 2000 Accord sedan I had before that, if you didn’t turn the gas cap until you heard at least three or four clicks when you were closing it, the check engine light could go on in your car. You would think there was something wrong with your car and it was just the damn gas cap. What a ridiculous glitch.

I have a Fire TV also. But unlike Bobby, I don’t trust Alexa. I don’t own any Alexa devices, other than what’s in my smart TV, and I have not used the voice activation. Because once you activate Alexa, they’re always listening. Hopefully she’s not listening right now Anyway. I’m not a criminal, but I do know that criminals have been caught through recordings made by their Alexa devices that were shared with Law enforcement. So I’ll use my remote control. No voice activations for me.

Ruger makes an excellent ruger .22 pistol, the Mark V and the others that went before it have always been reliable and stylish, they vaguely resemble a sci-fi blaster, one was used in one of the Star Wars movies back in the day, and the classic can't be beat Ruger 10/22 which you can purchase cheap thirty round magazines for that is an excellent plinkster, perfect for small game. Deer will fill a freezer easy, but squirrels are consistent food, and taste like chicken, pop a couple, get the meat, and you can have "chicken and noodles" every night for cheap. Dry pasta is very easy and cheap to stockpile. Virzi often talks about stuff he doesn't really know about, but if he put his hands on a Mark V, than he got a great pistol that's good for learning to shoot and handle a pistol for cheap, because ammo isn't cheap and often there are shortages, and if he bought a Ruger 10/22, he bought a tremendous small game and just all around fun gun. Get the thirty round magazines, they are cheap as all Hell and well worth having a few.

Bobby's choice of guns are all well made and good guns, but you gotta go shotgun for home defense, it becomes whatever type of firearm you load it to be. 00 buckshot fires 9 projectiles with the speed and force of 9mm bullets, and trauma experts agree that shotgun blasts do more sheer damage than anything else in terms of firearms. Sure, you could go big bore, get a .50 AE or a .50 BMG or something like that, but shotguns have better handling that anything like that and are way cheaper. You'd be surprised at how easy they are to fire too, a standard 12 gauge buckshot shell is very easy to soak the recoil from, never actually fired 00 buck, but it's surely manageable.
