I'm from the States. But never heard of "Target response vehicle"? But is duty operation of this unit? And other fire brigades around the UK have similar units operating as well?And your videos are awesome keep up the great work and be safe.And Happy Holidays Season to you sir.

Thanks very much for watching! The Targeted Response Vehicle (TRV) is staffed by 2 or 3 firefighters and responds to low level incidents such as grass and rubbish fires

Martin, because of drastic cuts in funding many UK fire brigades have had to remove proper full-sized fire engines from frontline service and have replaced them with these ridiculous mini fire engines. Many firefighters have been laid off too. It's nothing short of scandalous really. My local brigade (Staffordshire) have had to get rid of eight proper engines. They bought four of these "Targeted Response Vehicles" on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis to take their place. After several years they ditched three of them because they were incapable of doing what they were bought for. There's only one left operational now, and that's as a second-away retained-only unit. More shocking still - West Midlands Fire Service used to run 64 frontline engines, but have had to remove over 20 from service, and have replaced them with an even more ridiculous version of a TRV based on a Toyota Hilux chassis.
